Hey there, I have an issue with stuffing a plushie. I don't know if it's my technique, or if I need to modify the pattern.

Here is the issue:
I stuff the head, the start to stuff the neck and the body. The neck starts to buckle like so.

I try to smooth is out on one side but it just goes to the other side.

Help?

Maybe try using a chop stick, or one of those stuffing sticks you get in a bag of stuffing for stability.  Just a thought.
