My apologies to gozer for taking so terribly long to post this *adorable* little gobble gobble turkey that I received for my Countdown to Thanksgiving theme.

So cheerfully cartoonish, and with such a delightful expression on his face...

I can't help myself, I just adore this ATC!

Thanks so much, gozer!   Grin

Wow. What truly amazing cards! And I have more to add. I unfortunately have to give the lame excuse that my camera broke this weekend (which is actually great because I have despised it for four years now but couldn't justify the money for a new one) so these were taken with my phone.

From Mrs.LindsayLoo. My stomach turns a bit each time I look at this and how wonderful that it gives such an impact! It is for my dark theme and titled What really is in that lunch, Lois?

From ThreadorYarn. Yay Fenway! I am such a huge sox fan. And she learned about the red seat on a tour she took, which I am completely jealous of.

From WideEyedLife for my dark theme. Gosh those eyes really are creepy. I can't figure them out and I can't figure out how she draws people so incredibly well.

From tree27. New Hampshire! The best state ever? With Mount Washington added for detail. Did you all know it is the tallest mountain in the northeast and up until a few years ago, held the title for highest wind speed ever recorded at 231 mph?

From kwality570. Look at the rosy cheeks. She really does make monsters look cuddly. Or at least like they belong in Monsters, Inc. Maybe these would help little kids to no longer be scared of what is under the bed.

From jillybeans. And this is where my phone camera does absolutely no justic, a card for walls and a card for winter. She used pictures she herself has taken and what beautiful framing and focus in them! They look like they were taken for a card. I am jealous of her skill.

I received today!

From Mountains and Clouds:
She picked my print theme but also tied in "Appalachian instruments" and "steampunk". The blue/green one on the top is titled "Wheels and Sprockets". The bottom 2 are "Appalachian Dulcimer #s 1 & 2" And on the top left is the original printing block that she used! I love these!

From Mrs.LindsayLoo:
"Blueberry Gin Smash" for my cocktails theme. I am so envious of her watercolor skills! And the recipe sounds delicious!

Thank you both so much! I love each one!

Here are the cards I have been hoarding.  I'm loving them all.  These were all inspired by my Harry Potter themed list.

From blupaisan
Theme, Gold and Red.
Some great details.

From Mrs.LindsayLoo
Theme: The lake
Title: "A Great Lake (Michigan)"
Only the most awesomest lake ever.

From kitiza
A combo theme of Rat and Glasses.
How clever!

From Miknessevie
Yet another combo theme of Rat and Camping.
Lots of love for the rats.  Shhh.  Don't wake him.

I can't find the post or msg from whoever got a card from me that was short on postage.  Whoever that was, please PM me your address again - I have a small thank you/apology gift for you.  My bad.

I got the most awesome They Might Be Giants card from blupaisan today! It has lyrics/reference to "Dead" from the album Flood, which is the first album of theirs I owned. I've been singing/humming it since I ripped open the envelope.

"I didn't apologize for when I was eight and made my younger brother have to be my personal slave"

Thanks heaps blupaisan - great interpretation of the theme!

♥ Susan

There are some really cool cards here, but I have to call out the rats in glasses.  That just cracked me up, and she even distorted the outline of the head!

There's one in every family, and I'm an only child.

I received some ATC's yesterday!  (Even one for the June 2011 swap, so its in that gallery if anyone wants to see it).

From Kartiana for my cupcake theme.  Its called "Yummy Cupcake".

The card is a really pretty pearly pink.  Makes me hungry for a cupcake. Mmmm.

From Mountains and Clouds for my fireworks theme.  Its called "For Freedom".

The fireworks are stitched on a black fabric each w/ two color of floss.  It is so cool!

And she sent me an extra, an experimental card that turned out wonderful!

I think the leaves are fimo clay.  Such a fun tree!!!
