This is my first reupholstering project! Now I want to cover everything I see in pretty fabrics... ah!

My parents gave me our old dining room table and chairs that I grew up with when I moved into my new apt a couple weeks ago. I decided that they needed new life :]
The fabric:

A couple of the chairs at my table!

This is what the base of my chairs looked like before:

You can see the details and the chronology of the table/chairs on mah blog[\url].

Thanks! The fabric was mad cheap from Joann's. And I hadn't even thought of a tote with the outdoor canvas stuff! That's a good idea. I am actually really lacking in the sewing machine skills dept. Although now that I'm supposed to be self-sufficient and stuff, maybe I can figure it out! I think I got discouraged when I tried to sew through thicker fabric and it turned into a loopy mess haha

They look great! That's a nice way to update something you grew up with... I have a few chairs I want to redo but am a bit nervous. I think once I find the perfect fabric I'll just dive in!

Thank you! I am so so so happy with them :] Don't be nervous! Just do it! If it's any extra motivation, mine took only about half an hour each once I had everything in one place!
