I made this huge origami piece a while back and it's been sitting around unappreciated. It took a lot of work, but the results are really cool in my opinion. I'm a bit of a nerd, so I love this kinda thing, lol. I wish I could post a pic, but I'm a noob so here's the link

Let me know if it works, I'm still learning how this site works.

Wow, that's pretty cool! I can see that it was lots of work. I couldn't dare make something like that, my kids would try to play catch with it! The result was well worth all your effort though!

WOW... wish I had patience for origami. How long did it take you?

Fabric, paper, fabric, paper, oh! I just cant choose!! Unless I mix them together and create something with fabric AND paper in a glorious harmony!

origami is too complicated for me!  So jealous!!  an old boyfriend made me the smallest crane I've ever seen, it fit on my thumbnail and my nails are small!  Envious.

This is gorgeous - too bad you can't slip one of those hanging light bulb lamps (lantern) inside, it would make a cool light fixture. I think if you hang it right in the center, there'd be no danger of fire, plus, I'm sure there's enough holes in between for air circulation. Real nice!
