I was rocking out to my favorite 80's station the other day when Bad Reputation came on. After singing at the top of my lungs (and possibly scaring the pedestrians on the sidewalk) I was inspired to make something to honor the great Joan Jett! I am by no means a painter, but I decided to try my hand at some pop art. I must say I am rather proud of myself on this one. Without further adieu I give you my finished product....

Cool! Did you copy a picture or just wing it?

This is great! Can you tell us more about it? Is it just acrylic on paper? You did an amazing job!

Awesome work of art! I love the motion of it. Usually people use still images, but this
one is far from static.
Fun stuff...

Thanks everyone! I took the picture I liked from one of her albums and played with it in photoshop so I could have a good base of reference to create the pop art look. It's just acrylic black paint on glitter card stock that has been sealed with acrylic spray. Pretty simple to do just a little time consuming. Smiley
