I bought the Pretty Petunia Cloche pattern from charmingcrochet on Etsy when I found out I was expecting a little girl. It is crocheted with Caron Simply Soft. Unfortunately, she won't be able to wear it any time soon as she is a bit on the petite side and hat is intended to fit a wide age range. Still, I live in Texas and it will be too hot for hat for months anyway and she can grow into it.

Haha, it is a little big right now, but she'll grow so quickly that you'll wonder why the hat doesn't fit anymore in no time! Do show us a picture when she can wear it properly please.

Look twice, buy once. Nooooo
Look twice, decide I can make one instead.

It looks like an eggplant - I love it!

I love nonsense - it wakes up the brain cells!

I think it looks really sweet, and will be totally adorable on your little girl once she grows into it Smiley A very cute pattern, indeed.

Aww, that's precious. She's adorable in her new hat. It makes me wish my niece would just wear hats  Sad

Smiley Thanks everyone. Baby girl is growing like a weed so she may actually wear it when it finally gets cool in Texas (it's triple digits now though). I had such an urge to make cute accessories because there wasn't much my hubby would let me make for my son when he was a baby and he pulled everything off anyway.
