Wow what an amazing photo! Lucky Gus  Cheesy

I'm thinking about getting metal legs. It's a risky operation, but it'll be worth it.

Things have been kinda quiet on the home front here.  We have one more really big weekend planned, and that's Labor day.  Hopefully will be able to go to the state fair with my daughter this year, that will be fun and I'm sure Sparks will have a blast while we're there.  Planning on a couple more roadtrips, but gas $$ is a little tight right now.  But we've been riding our bikes ALL over the place.  Kinda fun to around town on your bike instead of always in your car! No pictures from Craft Lake City yesterday. A lot of the vendors wouldn't allow it and it was well over 100 degrees. Sad

We did go to the aquarium though! It was nice and cool in there Smiley

Trevor got to visit Greenbelt National Park just before the torrential rains started this weekend.  He was a bit afraid at first because there was a big sign at the park entrance:

but when he went to get his passport stamped, the ranger gave him some tick repellant. I don't think he would have made it back through customs with Lyme disease!

I told Trevor that Blair Witch Project was filmed nearby, but these woods are less scary and the trail was well marked with red blazes so we would not get lost.

Tomorrow he is going to get packed for his trip to the Michigan Fiber Festival!

Great pics you all! I'm going to a bbq this afternoon, with all my crafty friends, and I plan to take more Bubbles pics there. Hopefully some crafty ones! Plus, I'll update you with pictures from the Belgian seaside. Bubbles loved it there!

I have a ton of plans for the end of Sept/early Oct, just when Mal will be going home.  Sad

Glad that Trevor stayed safe from the ticks and wasn't too frightened to visit the Blair Witch forests...lol...so cool, love the sound of the rangers...I hope they look like the ones in Jellystone park with yogi...so wishing I could be there too...

Am well jealous of Gus too, wow...

Organisers Note:

I have been noticing lately that not everybody is contributing to the thread or gallery once a week. I know that sometimes life gets hectic and I am happy to let the odd week go by if you have been great about communicating at other times. This note is about those that are going WEEKS without posting.

If you have noticed that your partner has not been around, NOW is the time to do something about it - not days before send-outs (which are in just over a month!)

Please PM your partner if you have not heard from them lately. If you still do not recieve a reply then contact me ASAP and I will do my best to resolve the situation.

Thank you to those who are keeping the threads lively with their discussions and photos! You are wonderful!!

Do I spy a new hat on Cookie's head?  Cheesy

I just realised that I forgot about this week's photo challenge! And i'm a bit behind on sending out the postcards to the winners of the past few weeks. Sorry! Will get on that asap.

Any suggestions for this weeks theme? Create a banner and post it here and it will become this week's challenge! Smiley

PS. It is week 8 this week!
