My family of 5 (3 kiddoes and Mom & Dad) are gearing up for a road trip next week!!  Yeah!  (and a little scary too).  I'm trying to make a few toys for the trip that will be surprises for my kids.  A while back I made I Spy bags, mini magnetic memory games, and bubble wrap bingo.  More recently I sewed up some marble mazes and now these cute sock puppets.

Here is a great sock puppet tutorial I found on line.

I made 4 puppets, and still need to do a little one for the little hands in my family.  Here are the completed ones though.

Here's my favorite

This is the little reggae guy Smiley I blogged about them here with some details on how I made the accessories.

I would love to know what you think and I'm happy to answer any questions!

I wish I'd travelled with you when I was a kid! I bet they're all "yeah, we got here. Now can we go back in the car  again please"!

Look twice, buy once. Nooooo
Look twice, decide I can make one instead.
