This thread is great help.  Unfortunately I am of the breed that compulsively bookmarks every bit of info on something I'm interested in and then suffers information overload (I can't be the only one who does this right? haha)  Well when I recover from the overload I hope to use this information to begin a cool new hobby Smiley

I suffer from the same condition. The remedy: Pick ONE bit of information and start with that, actually doing it. Smiley Then progress through all of them until you find the technique you like the most. Smiley Of course, if you're going to keep trying techniques, you'll end up a stitch dilettante, like me! Well, to combat my information overload I have ordered a book to start with called Doodle Stitching. I might update on whether it's a good book for beginners but I have high hopes Smiley

I have a new blog: http://makingitwell.blogspot.com  I'd love for you to visit Smiley
