A summer essential...sidewalk chalk
something edible....lemonheads and chocolate(for me to enjoy lol)

My eyes just totally melded these together and I was scratching my head trying to figure out edible sidewalk chalk. lol

I would like to know what recipes are in the MAF-themed recipe book!

So I received on Thursday and finally had a chance to post..  I received a totally awesome, super charming package from EdenKitty

I opened the box and saw this cute Hello Kitty bag (one of her fav characters) and a note on some cool papers...

Next, a container with fancy cotton candy from the company she runs (which is super tasty... Smiley ), some yummy tea and lots of colorful, numbered packages:

Here's the rest of the spread, or most of it at least-- postcards of her favorite flowers, a CD of her fav singer/songwriter, some super good smelling soap:

And here are some close ups -- first a cool glass pendant, a spool of vintage thread (which she collects) and some mother of pearl coins (remind her of summer:

Some awesome tie-dye duct tape (random favorite -- I've never seen it in tie dye before!), vintage buttons, ribbon tapes with cats on them (her favorite animal) and some awesome yarn that SHE SPUN HERSELF! (how awesome is that?)

Finally, a lovely glass ornament with a folded crane inside:

I loved the package- I could tell it had a lot of heart and thought behind it.  Thank you EdenKitty!

EdenKitty, that is some beautifully-spun yarn.  It looks so even!

So yesterday I went to the post early on my way to work and found my package from aheartofglass waiting for me.  I couldn't open it at work but I did take a peek inside and all I thought was "wow this smells great"

12 hours later I finally unwrapped the contents and here is what I found:

A great assortment of things representing aheartofglass including:
~geodes (which I loved to break open as a kid too!)
~wild horses note card (her favorite animal)
~dice shaped lollipop and casino cards (edible and local to her region)
~a sandalwood candle (which is one of my favorite scents too! Although Yankee Candle where I work in the winter only produces it in limited edition now)
~A Moody Blues CD
~some more note cards with Lake Tahoe and some beautiful flower watercolors printed on them
~Guatemalan worry dolls which are super cute (I have always been fascinated by superstition, I'll have to try these out)
~Pier 1 Paper Soaps (to always keep in the purse, which is great because I hate those really harsh medicinal soaps at rest stops and we are always on the road)
~Awesome tea flowers that bloom as they steep so its a show in your drink how cool!
~a snoopy bookmark for her non craft hobby (and she didn't know this but as a kid I had a cat named snoopy!)
~A beautifully altered journal that shows a bit of her personal style and to keep me organized for crafting and life, which I am sure will come in handy
~A cat notepad
~A Nevada shaped soap which seems to be the culprit in the box smelling so good
and finally, A beautiful glass rocking horse ornament that she made! for the favorite holiday

Thanks so much aheartofglass!  I can't wait for you to receive mine.

i received the most wonderful package from feverdream this week! i think we were friends in another life, because her package was so much in line with my own tastes. here is a shot of everything, which was so nicely wrapped with paper and ribbon but i was too impatient to find the camera before opening it:

something edible: the most amazing chocolate i think i have ever had, dark chocolate with sea salt and toffee
something with your favorite animal on it: kitty stickers (my fav animal too)

something essential to your favorite craft: homemade knitting needles that she made herself! size 11. i cant believe she made these. i love them and cant  wait to use them

something made out of paper: paper cranes that she has been making for years. they are lovely.

something you think smells good: bath bomb from lush. actually one of my favorite stores. i will prob save this for a long time before using it, it's in my closet now making everything smell amazing.
something you keep in your purse: let them eat cake lip balm. i think i am addicted. she loves marie antoinette who is on the packaging.

a kitchen staple: super cute clips bc she loves cutesy kitchen stuff (so do i)
something that helps you keep organized: a cute little bunny pouch Smiley
something from your fav store: keychain from the SANRIO STORE!!! one my favs too.

Package 1
Okay, so I received from Ashley G. a while ago, but have been so busy with work, that I'm just now getting to post pictures. She sent such an awesome package!

1. Something she always keeps in her purse: Hand Sanitizer! I'm so glad she sent me some of this, I used to carry some with me all the time too, but ran out so long ago and never bought anymore.

2.Something of sentimental value: Rubber duckies that floated in the punch bowl of her wedding! Aww! How sweet is that??  They are too cute! Cheesy

3. Something drinkable: Cream soda! My dad used to buy cream soda all the time when I was younger; it reminds me of being a kid!

4. Something related to you favorite craft supply: Polymer clay! I'm so glad she sent me some, I love working with clay too (although I'm not the greatest at it...) and have been wanting to get some more.

5.Something related to your favorite craft hobby: fun fur! She loves to crochet and so do I! It's also probably one of my favorite crafts too. Smiley

6.Something with her favorite character: A Sailor Moon Kokeshi doll! So cute! I love the look on her face! (oh and here's a close up, sorry for the blurriness)

7. Something you wear on your body: Some AWESOME handmade ribbon necklaces!!! I LOVE THESE!!! I have been wanting some necklaces like this for a while now (been eyeing them at work...) but haven't bought any. I'm so glad she sent/made me so and saved me from spending the $12.97 I would have had to pay for each of them at the mall! Smiley

8.Something made out of or with paper: Mario magnets! They match my fridge PERFECTLY!! I really needed so more magnets (we had a total of 1 lone fridge magnet)!

9.Something related to her favorite games: An assortment of dice used for playing Dungeon and Dragons! Her husband and friends play together every Saturday (sounds like fun!).

10. Something related to her favorite fashion or hair accessory: An awesome headband! I LOVE HEADBANDS TOO! I actually have a whole box of like, 15 of them, so this is perfect for my collection! I have to wear lots of accessories to my job (a total of 6 a day) so headbands are a must and I don't have one like this yet! I LOVE IT!!! Smiley

Thanks so much for everything Ashley G.!!
