So i saw the star afghan on here a while back and absolutely fell in love with it. I LOVE stars. A couple days later I get the invite to my cousin's baby shower. Her first, and the first great grandchild! Awesome! I immediately called my aunt to find out what colors they were doing the nursery in since they didn't want to know the sex of the baby. They are doing the nursery in turquoise/blue, orange, and cream.... nailed it. ^_^

First block of color

Second block of color

The finished product, probably could have done with another block of color after to make it bigger, but I didn't want it to be too big, besides, they live in florida. lol don't really need it, but every baby should have a baby blanket right?

BTW, this was back in Feb. A couple weeks ago my cousin gave birth to a beautiful and healthy little boy! They named him Eli!

The starghan looks great! What great color choices for the nursery! And i absolutely love the name Eli. Tell them a stranger from the interwebs approves. Haha.
