Jewelry and Trinkets Featured Projects - Quarter 1 2011

2011 is already speeding right by!  Whew!  It's April already, and here's a peek at the awesomeness that is the J&T category for this year.  It's shaping up to be a stellar one Smiley  Read on for a peek at some great projects for January, February, and March...

Completed Projects: General

brightshadows picked a few winners from a grab bag of beads from a buddy (say THAT 5 times fast!) and came up with this absolutely gorgeous Blue and Gold "V" Necklace.  All I can say is...STUNNING!

Statement necklaces are still a hot trend obviously based on the looks of this Froofy Scrappy Explosion Statement Necklace by Schnoogles.  I love the frilly-ness and the lace...now I have ideas for the tons of vintage lace I've been hoarding Wink

And, yes, I'm a big fan of statement necklaces...so here's a lovely coral piece made by kraftykara81.  Coral and turquoise are some of my fave colors and mediums to work with for jewelry, so this totally kicks my mind into high gear for summer!

Completed Projects: Reconstructed

Reconstruction at it's finest is seen in this Tree of Life Collar Necklace made by functionalflea.  Even the spoon handle was reused to make the clasp Shocked  WOW!!

It's amazing what one can create with found objects or objects whose original purpose escapes me...  This Confetti Resistor Bracelet brings that right to the forefront.  thegirlwhoflies is a newbie around the Craftster block, and I'm looking forward to seeing more of her projects!

Completed Projects: Beading

sithkittie created this super-cute little 3D beaded Belle Bunny based off Belle from Beauty and the Beast back in February and wow, what talent!  I love 3D beaded projects, it really adds another dimension to an already coveted craft by me.  Way to go!

Congrats to all the featured members this quarter!  Keep on inspiring us by posting your goodies often Smiley
