Hello hookers! I now get the privilege to brag that I am one of you. Previously I had made a wash cloth but crocheting didn't quite stick. A month or two later I went over to my step-mom's for her help in showing me how to crochet. Now I am a crochet monster! Mwhahaha Anyways, she helped me in making this chunky green scarflette out of Lion Brand Homespun yarn.

The scarflette has these really awesome buttons that feature a crest and griffon type creatures.

I then went on to obsessively make a bobble stitch hat but my yarn hair is too big to put the hat over. Not that I've tried but it's too warm to struggle with it right now.

Awesome! Good job. Once you get the hang of it it's hard to stop, huh?

Definitely! Every time I finish something I'm waiting to buy more yarn for my next project. Right now I am working on a blanket that will take me some time to finish.

Welcome to crochet! And that scarflett looks great. I'd wear that!
