This is a HIGH QUALITY swap and you understand this will be your best work and it is very important to talk to your partner to make sure you have their wishes and your best crafting in mind ?
Are you willing to post a photo of the item/s you receive or have the person who sent to you post of the photo for you with 5 days of receiving ?

https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=6553.0
this is a great tip for being a great swapper and the link to all swap rules are there too
Please bookmark this thread post here. All updates will be made here and this will help you to keep up with everything also, please bookmark the discussion and the gallery threads!
IF YOU WANT TO PARTICIPATE, REMEMBER TO SEND YOUR INFO TO THE ORGANIZERS VIA PRIVATE MESSAGE AND NOT TO REPLY WITH IT HERE. PLEASE MESSAGE BABALINA58 & Lindyv321
YOU MUST PUT IN THE SUBJECT in SUBJECT LINE referring to swap 70!!
How This Swap Works:
Please READ CAREFULLY! This swap works differently than most!
Try to imagine a chain. The first link is the first person whose wish list is on page 1 (Person A) - that will be the craftster member who was the very last wish list from Ongoing Wish Swap 69.
Now, we want to put another link in the chain. People will read that list and see if there is something they want to/can make from the list.
Someone (Person B) will claim Person A for some item on their wish list. They post a reply to the thread that says “I claim Person A for [item]. This is my X claim (however many times they have picked someone – for example, "this is my fourth wish, with one sent, and three received,” (meaning that this is the fourth claim they've made, one is in transit to it's destination, and three of the items have been received by the people they previously claimed). Also add your location, and any preferences or aversions – “I live in Wisconsin USA, I am a vegetarian, and I am allergic to wool”.
IT'S REALLY IMPORTANT THAT YOU REPLY WITH YOUR STATUS WHEN YOU CLAIM SOMEONE! This means you need to post who you are claiming and for what, how many claims you have made, including how many in transit and how many received, and your location/preferences/aversions. I.E. 4/1/1 = 4 claims-1 in transit-1 received by partner
Then comes the fun part! After the introduction, Person B is the last link in the chain, and they post their wish list!!! YOU CAN HAVE AS MANY ITEMS ON YOUR WISH LIST AS YOU WANT, HOWEVER
YOU MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF FIFTEEN MED PER SECTION i.e. CRAFTS and SUPPLIES.
THE MORE ITEMS YOU LIST, THE BETTER YOUR CHANCES OF BEING CLAIMED QUICKLY.
(Please have your list ready, this swap moves very quickly! If not I will skip you and or remove your claim!! Please include your country at the start of your wish list). Person B will also PM Person A to get her address so they can mail the item when it is finished.
Along comes Person C, who claims Person B for something on their list and the chain is built, link by link. (If Person C wanted to make Person B a purse AND a stuffie, that would still count as ONE WISH.) Then they post their list, and so on.
When you want to make a claim, you can ONLY pick from the very last wish list in the chain. You can't pick anyone else in the chain - you can only connect to the very end of the chain, which is that last wish list posted.
After you have made your claim, you need to PM that person for their address.
Friends of Craftster are allowed UP TO 3 wishes at one time as per the orgs discretion, others are allowed 2 wishes again as per the org dis.. If this is your first swap, you are only allowed one wish at a time until your crafts are received for this month. HOWEVER the orgs reserve the right to tell you that you may only claim one or two items at a time if you have had issues in the past with shipping late or poor communication etc!!
Do not choose over your given limit.
Become a Friend of Craftster! Go here:
https://www.craftster.org/subscribe.php
If you are at your limit of wishes, you can choose again once one of your partners receives AND you have confirmation they have,
NOT
when you send.
***Do not claim someone unless you can fulfill that wish to a high caliber***
we have had in the past a few swappers think it is OK to toss some crap in a box and ship it. This is NOT the swap for you as this is a HIGH QUALITY crafting swap!!
Unsure of where to find wish ideas? Try the previous ongoing wish swap galleries or any other gallery on craftster. Look through your fellow crafter’s wist lists, pintrests, ETSY etc
Sending/Communicating/Feedback:
YOU HAVE TWO WEEKS (14 days from the time you claim)TO GET YOUR ITEM OUT THE DOOR.This starts from the time you claim must be out the door BY the 14th day!
IF YOU DO NOT SEND A MEDIUM ITEM YOU CLAIMED FOR YOU WILL BE GETTING NEGATIVE FEEDBACK.
( the medium can be a couple small items etc as long as it adds up to a medium )
( A medium item equals a MIN of two+ hours of crafting time or $20-30usd worth of store bought items )
Feedback will be given as soon as you have sent - received -posted pics but will be up to 2 weeks after the swap closed if you do not post pics and this will be noted and you might not get allowed back in the next round if you cant do this! Please take pics before you ship! This is a rule not an option!!!
IF YOU CLAIM FOR A COTTON HAT, THEN DO NOT SEND A WOOL ONE OR YOU WILL HAVE TO SEND AGAIN!
Pay close att. to your partners allergies and wishes IF you send something that is on the list of allergies, etc you WILL be required to send again! No argument on this we cant have anymore of the swappers PM that they got something that is clearly in their list of things they HATE and or have allergies of.....
Please be communicative if you are having any issues. If you communicate you still need to send your item in a timely manner. Communication does not mean you can send as late as you want. After one week past the deadline( on the 7th day) you can and or will have negative feedback. This is only temporary as it will be changed back once you fulfill your obligation for late item(s). Do not choose to craft an item if you do not think you can meet these deadlines
If the threads stall too long the orgs can claim to get it moving again but try not to however.
Previous Swap Rounds:
If you are confused in any way by how this works, please look at some previous rounds:
PLEASE REMEMBER THAT POSTING PHOTOS IS STILL A REQUIREMENT FOR THIS SWAP.
IF YOU CAN'T TAKE PHOTOS, PLEASE DO NOT JOIN THIS SWAP!!!.
FEEDBACK WILL NOT BE GIVEN UNTIL YOUR PACKAGES HAVE BEEN SENT AND YOU RECEIVE AND POST PICS OR 2 weeks AFTER the swap ends as per the rules[
/color]
BABALINA58 will be our organizer, in charge of your claims, Thread update and approval feedback.
LINDYV321 will be or co Organizer in charge of the gallery
and to make sure things run smooth and just be her wonderful self
THANK YOU LINDY FOR BEING SO WONDERFUL!
You must have your wish list saved in your computer before you make any claims as to not stall the thread

The first person up this round is going to be the lovely
Casey1201
My name is Casey and I live in Southern Colorado with my love and our 3 furbabies (dogs). It’s a drastic change from the sunny San Diego I grew up in but love it here nonetheless. I will officially be a college graduate May 7th and am an animal welfare officer for the Humane Society (love my job). We like rustic style, like a little whimsy county.
I love aqua, teal, chocolate brown, the color combo of ocean blue and beige for house stuff. I also like aqua, red and white together and aqua yellow and white. I enjoy the outdoors, animal rescue, reading, rough housing with my little family, pretending to clean my craft room, coffee, the scent of baked goods, mixing hippie style with a little rock, the San Diego Chargers and peppermint hot cocoa.
Big Wishes!

I claim Casey1201 for something for her wall of art and hoops.
First claim this round. 1/0/0
Hello, I’m Kirsten, I’m a full time student. I live in New Zealand, married with two stepsons and two spoilt cats. I love art and I do a lot of drawing and printmaking.
Colours: particularly blue/green/teal/aqua, natural tones, or black and white; not so keen on pastels and pinks/purples (though dusty/dull shades can be nice).
Metals: silver, copper or antiqued finishes, rather than gold.
Styles: plainish and textured rather than very patterned. Natural linen, monochromatic prints rather than very multi-coloured. Some styles I particularly like are mid-century modern, Scandinavian, Japanese (but not kawaii).
Think artsy-fartsy rather than cutesy when crafting for me
No allergies. I prefer natural fibres, but not exclusively. I’m happy to chat, and easy to please.
***
for things I particularly want (if that's helpful), but I will be delighted with anything on the list!
Thank you for picking me!!
CRAFTS
VARIOUS CRAFTY POSSIBILITIES
* wisty surprise -
http://wists.com/jemimah
My wist will give you a good picture of my tastes – “inspired by” rather than an exact replica is great, so feel free to get creative
* a Star Trek or Doctor Who thingy, whatever you like to make, my faves are Spock, tardis and daleks. (Useful rather than decorative is usually my preference, but any Spock, tardis, or dalek item that lands in my letterbox will find a home). Some ideas – Tardis journal, etui, needle book; daleks on anything; Spock stationery, journal.
* pick another one of my fave things and make something in your favourite craft medium (again, great if it’s useful, but not essential) e.g. fox, British robin, robot (more in profile info)
*
things to put other things in
– box, bag, wallet, purse, organiser, etc. – always welcome
* protective folder to store artwork in – A4 or A3 would be great
* cool/or fun/ or vintage-y/or modern pendants or brooches, in any medium - metal, fabric, polyclay. (I love jewellery and have a silly amount of it already, so I may use these for other creative purposes, e.g. embellishing purses, books, home decor things - so a few fun bits and pieces would be better than something very precious
)
SEWN
* a pockety bag – lots of different size pockets for projects/art supplies, any style or size, doesn’t have to have any zippers or be a complicated design
***
a tardis pockety bag would be truly awesome
* Plain and sturdy zippered totebag
* a tea cosy – sewn (stencilled/appliqué/embroidered/whatever), rather than knitted. Simple, plain style great. Made from recycled felted wool would be cool too. I can send measurements. Themes (optional):- “Cake or Death?” (Eddie Izzard quote); Dalek (I dream of one with a dalek saying ‘Insulate!’ in fact I might just have to make this myself
); some sort of Star Trek or Dr Who theme
* something embroidered (hand or machine, a panel for me to make into something, or a finished item – basically, anything you think I might like!)
*
organiser things
(e.g. project holder, thing for storing small supplies and bits) any size. (I love the things I’ve received, I always need more though!
) Some ideas in wist, but other styles are good too.
*
sketch book cover
– to fit spiral-bound A3, A4, or A5, whichever size you feel like making.
*
sewing ideas
(if you want to make cushions/cushion covers, you can mail them unstuffed for easier postage)
* awesome pot mitts - something amusing!
***
NEW
a pincushion like this
– oh how I want one of these!!
*
fabric buckets
are great! I like them quite big (grocery bag size, or even bigger), but you don't need to put interfacing or padding/batting in them, so they can fold up flat for easy posting. They don't need to be fancy, plain and sturdy is fine. Short handles are useful, but not essential.
***
awesome brooches like
this
, but saying "sewing machine", or "make it sew"
YARN RELATED
* hand dyed or hand spun yarn
* handknitted wool socks (women’s size 9-10, any colour) (I know, this is a big one!)
* socks/slippers for wearing around the house –something simple to make, not fancy – maybe made of old felted jumpers or something? (women’s size 9-10) I am not fussy about the style, this is all about comfort. I will be working at home all year ...
* if you’re interested in knitting something, these are some things I want in my ravelry faves (I don’t necessarily want all the other things in my ravelry faves though
) –
ravelry wants
– there are some smaller things like hats and mitts in there, and a couple of crochet things too. Some good colours for knits – dull denim blue, dull greyish rose, chartreuse, rich or dull red (not too orange-y or dark please).
***
it's getting colder here so
fingerless mitts
have moved up my wishlist again! I like ones with thumbs rather than just thumb slits, but other than that I'm pretty flexible on styles. I particularly like cabled designs and Knucks. I wear these every day in the winter.
*
wisty things made of felt or felted wool
*
NEW
crochet
granny square slippers
- I like the colours in the first pic (aargh, they changed the pic last I looked, they were teal, mint and eggplant, I think), but other colours are fine too.
PAPER RELATED
* handmade stamps in a theme I like (see my profile and wists), e.g. birds, frogs, fish, trees, art related, Tardis, dalek, Star Trek
* Star Trek or Dr Who themed stationery – notecards or paper, it’s all good
*
stationery ideas
OTHER CRAFTS
* handmade ceramic item, esp. in celadon green (but any colours are good)
ceramic ideas
* hair sticks/comb/pin or shawl pin – not too girly please, see wist
* or something else that I haven’t thought of, that you think I’d like!
CRAFT SUPPLIES (many of these things are VERY expensive here, more than 2x US prices)
* real silk for embroidery, any colours, any brand, any type – it’s hideously expensive where I live (it’s probably not that cheap where you live, but I bet it’s cheaper than here! a very small envelope will be cheap to post, and will make me very happy
). I particularly love Soie d'Alger (made by Au Ver à Soie). If you send me some Soie d'Alger, I will also send you a tiny pretty made with it by way of extra thanks.
(A few OWSers have sent me silk now, and I <3 it all! Thank you! I'm always happy to get more, as I do use it and love it so!)
* interesting embroidery supplies (please stick with quality over quantity, I’d much rather have a tiny envelope with a few lovely skeins/little things than lots of cheap floss/beads, and it's also cheaper for postage!) The sort of stuff I like is DMC, anything silk or linen, Au Ver à Soie, Japanese stuff, bits for goldwork (purl, kid, etc.), handmade/hand dyed, quirky things. Vintage/second hand is fine. No Aida please.
* silk or embroidered fabric, Japanese fabric, kimono fabric, good linen for embroidery, wool doctors flannel (for needlebooks), natural coloured linen (just smallish pieces of fabric are fine; no bulk fabric – I’d love it, but it may bankrupt you to mail it) - there’s lots of fabric I like in my wist.
***
nice sock yarn!!
* Noro yarn, other silk/luxury yarn, artisan yarn (I have a great local source for good wool yarns, so while I love that too, it’s not worth you mailing it to me
)
* nice paper - e.g handmade, japanese, printmaking, textured, any colour or weight - it's for printmaking, so plain or subtle rather than very patterned is best.
* small art supplies items:-
- pencils, markers and pens (Prismacolor/Derwent/Caran D'Ache/Posca for example, or similar artist grade things – think quality rather than quantity, just a few nice things would be fab! and cheap to mail)
- peel and sketch charcoal pencils
- drypoint etching supplies (roulette, plastic for etching)
-
***
inkpads, little stencils, stamps, etc.
***
100% wool felt, eco felt <– I’ve never seen eco felt available here (I have stacks of ordinary synthetic felt already though)
* bamboo circs (I have quite a few sizes in metal and plastic, but no bamboo. Long cables best, but any welcome.)
***
DMC StitchBow floss holders - just the gold coloured sticks (I have plenty of the plastic pockets to put them in)
* small sewing supplies – rickrack, bias binding, cotton tape/ribbon, grosgrain
* blanks for pendants or brooches (not shiny gold though)
***
nice/fun cotton fat quarters or fat eighths - the selection in the shops here is rubbish! There's heaps of wisted
fabric I like
to give you some ideas
* crafty magazines, (used is fine, vintage ones are cool too) – Burda or Anna (either English or German), Vogue Knitting
EXTRAS
* yarn leftovers/oddments in any shades of blue or green, anything over about 1/4 ball (~16 metres or more) will be useful for my project. Wool or wool blends preferred please, any weight.
* I always enjoy bookmarks, vintage/interesting buttons, little pouches, etc.
* small chipboard shapes, a little paper ephemera (maps, vintage, black and white, foreign language)
* no candy (I like it TOO much)
Thank you to everyone who has sent me lovely things!!! Some things are still on my list, because I love what you sent, and I am happy to receive similar things again.
NB. New Zealand has tough biosecurity at the border. This is very unlikely to apply to this swap, but just in case ... Please don’t send natural materials (feathers, leaves, wood, seeds e.g. lavender, etc.) Everything on my list is absolutely fine to send, but PM me if you’re unsure about something. Thanks

1/0/0
Hello, I am Monica I live in the USA in North Carolina on the last bank of the outer banks. I am easy going and love a lot of things..Look at my wists I love fabric and fun but in the styles in my wist really. I am raising my 2 grandkids, we have now 3 wild dogs. We have a child in the house with hard core allergies and asthma she cant be around cig. smoke at all..If you smoke in the house please pass on claiming us. If you are an outdoor smoker then must wash hands well as the tar stuff is what she really cant be around.
We cant have anything that is Kelly green ( like a pillow, tee that sort of thing.) it is a weird trigger color for my grandson who has autism.it is fine as an accent but not as a color for something really...

Okay, here we go. This is my first time doing this, so please bear with me and let me know if I do something wrong.
I claim babalina58 for a Lorax doll & a couple fun little extras.
This is my first claim so I'm 1/0/0
My list is terribly long but I'm terrified of stalling the thread. *blush*
About Me:
My name is Kristen & this is my first time doing an Ongoing Wish Swap. I live in Houston, TX with my husband & 3 kiddos. I am completely obsessed with yarn, rainbows, coffee, dark chocolate, cloth diapering, couponing, & handmade items. I’ve just recently found the hoopla love and want to start a collection for my craft room/office. I also love the look of patchwork and scrappy.
-I like polka dots, stripes, birds, owls, trees, fruit prints.
-My oldest son, Dominic, is obsessed with Legos and Mario.

http://www.wists.com/kbauer

-I don’t like dark colors or jewel tones.
-Also, no crude or dark humor please. My little ones can read and are terribly curious.

*Knitting/Crochet notions- I can not have enough stitch markers or darning/yarn needles. I am constantly losing them…also, soft tape measures; can never have too many of those either.
*Knitting needles- Any size between 3 & up. I desperately need size 7 12” long circulars and size 9 & up of dpns.
*Buttons! Check my Etsy favorites, my username is DomesticChaos.
*Zippers, velcro, elastic, snaps
*Your old jeans, t-shirts, pillow cases, & sleeves from women’s long sleeved shirts (I use these to make leggings for my daughter). I use all of these to sew my children’s wardrobes. They love to be a part of the crafting process!
*Tie dye kits or dyes for cotton fabric (extra rubber bands would be awesome too lol)
*Construction paper, various scrapbook paper, card stock- my kids are crazy about crafting too.
*Crayons (prefer Crayola brand as they melt the best but any would be awesome! < we melt the little nubs of leftover crayons into scrap crayons>)
*Scotch tape, packing tape, GLUE STICKS
*Stickers…seriously, my children are obsessed with stickers!
*Wool interlock fabric (prefer at least ½ yd cuts)

-Homemade soaps, lip balms or candles- my fave scent is black raspberry vanilla or strawberry.
-peppermint tea (would love to try some loose tea, but I need the proper hardware to go with it)

*Please don't send any candy, including chocolate. It's so hot here this time of year that the chocolate will melt and I'm trying to lose weight so I'd like to avoid the temptation.
**Thank you in advance to anyone who chooses me!!!

I claim kbauer - for a surprise for her and each kiddo
1/0/0
:: About Me ::
* I live in PA currently with my hubby of 15 years and NONE of our 6 kids ! woooot, they all moved out finally ! and 2 goldfish that belong to our youngest granddaughter !
* In the next few months hubby and I are packing up the VW Bus ( my mini van ) and hitting the road to live in sunny FL
* I'm a huge football fan - love my Miami Dolphins
* I collect dolphins, anything dolphin makes me happy
* Non smoking, no pet household ( other than the goldfish of course )
* My fave colors are pink, brown, red, green, and blue
* I don't much care for animal prints, I do enjoy paisely prints, skulls, and of course dolphin prints or mermaid, sea themed prints - Hubby & I both love nature, some of our favorite animals are wolves, dolphins, manatees, opossums, arctic fox.
* I like things that are useful. I'm not real big on "knick knack" type stuff - at least right now. Don't want to have to drag more with us than we have to when we move
* I love to read. Mostly I read crime, mystery, and true crime novels. Now and then an occasional thriller. I have a Pandigital Novel eReader/tablet and LOVE IT !
* I have no objection to items from pet friendly homes as long as they're not covered in hair. I love pets, used to have tons of them, so I know a few hairs are required as a gift from the fur baby
