My roommate works at a movie theatre, so we come into possession of a lot of movie popcorn. Question is, anyone have a good recipe idea for already popped popcorn? Popcorn balls? Can I crust popcorn onto meat somehow? Popcorn fight? If you have any good popcorn recipes, please share your secrets. =)

i don't have any recipes on hand, but i'm pretty sure on an episode of Iron Chef America one of the chefs used popcorn as a crust/breading on meat (i think either chicken or pork).  they just crushed it down into smaller pieces and used it like you would breadcrumbs.   Smiley

Any of the candied popcorn or caramel corn recipes call for already popped popcorn.  I don't have a recipe for them, because I cannot make anything with corn syrup to save my life.  There are a bunch of recipes online though.

Looking for postcards from anywhere to use for RSVP cards for my 8/2012 wedding.  Have 80/200.

I just watch Alton Brown's pop corn episode last night! It should be on hulu for a few more days if you're interested. He made some of it into cracker jacks by adding some peanuts and melted caramel. He also ate some as breakfast cereal but I don't know if that would be so good with the pre flavored movie theater stuff.

On a more philanthropic note, my sister was once in a similar situation and she would often give huge bags of leftover popcorn to a homeless family. I think they really appreciated it.
