Hi again. So this was my Grandma's kitchen table. It had 60's brown and gold flowered vinyl on the chairs and dark brown metal legs and laminate on the table. I sanded everything down, painted the table and chair legs with silver chrome spray paint. The table top is latex paint with a clear poly coating. Chairs are "meshed" with a basket weave made from canvas material.
So, whaddya think?? Opinions are welcome.

It looks beautiful! How nice to keep your Gram's table but also improve it so you can use it!

We have a very similar table we are planning on refinishing which was also a Grandmother's! We are stuck as to exactly how we are going to get everything to work.
 Cheesy
You did an amazing job, do you happen to have any more pics I would love them!

I think I have seen the 60's brown and gold flowered chairs before. You have done a great job of transforming them. Very modern.

Hi. Thank you all so much. I don't have any more pix though. And I did think about taking a before pix, but didn't before I started. Sorry. It really does look very different than before. My Auntie didn't believe me when I told her it was Grandma's table.  Grin One thing to know, if you don't already, is that metal needs to be wet-sanded...I figured that out later.
Thank you again. I am so excited to be on this site Smiley
