I have been knitting now for five months. I have completed 3 sweaters and am working on another .... it's hooked!  Well i WAS hooked .... i have crochetted for five years and was always afraid to learn to knit, but now i've done it!  And I can't get enough!  Here is the first sweater i ever made!  I'll be posting the others soon!

I used a pattern from the Lion Brand Free Pattern site.  It was easy and fun, though I wasn't a fan of sewing seams.  It's almost too small for him now and that's a bit sad.  I suppose I'll just have to have another baby so it can be used again!

I don't remember what yarn i used, but i think it was an alpaca blend.

Adorable! I haven't made anything like that for my son for fear of growing out of it too quickly. I figure one day I'll have a girl, and she can use her too small dresses on dolls so it won't be as wasteful? lol
I love the button choice!

Life is confusing, just when you think it's over it throws you a view like this and you don't know where you are.

Too cute and I love the buttons. I really want to knit a sweater at some point but I can't seem to talk myself into it. I'm a slow knitter so my projects seem to take forever.  After seeing your hoodie I'm now tempted to knit one for my son!   Smiley
