What do you do if you wake up in the middle of the night and the internet isn't working? Well, make a Martian Easter Circus of course=)

I made them from empty eggshells- I'm sure you're familiar with the procedure- poke a hole in the top and bottom and blow the contents out. Kind of gross, but afterwards you can decorate the eggs and hang them on twigs=)
I used a bunch of pipecleaners, pompoms ( who knew you can actually get that stuff in Germany..), eyes and ribbons. The coloring is done with permanent markers- a lot less of a mess that way=)
And here we go:

So, what do you think? ( I'm always very happy about comments and I do appreciate critique as well) Wink

Thank you! =)
The red and leopattern background is actually my kitchen. Strangely, it just happenend to be there and somehow, the eggs match my kitchen.. It's going to be hard to give them away ;( But there's a silver lining: when I've given them away, I'll have a reason to make more=)

I had to laugh when I read this. They are certainly funny little critters. The absence of the internet has not as yet led me to such dizzyingly creative heights as these (in fact I generally just sulk). I love the designs & I think the way you've displayed them is great. Here's to many more sleepless and internet-free nights  Tongue

Thank you, tentbruiser, that's really sweet   Roll Eyes *blushing*
.. and don't get me wrong, there's a lot of sulking involved for me too.  Grin Most of the time it reminds me of a Loriot-sketch, where an elderly couple is telling their out-of-order TV, that they're NOT going to let a broken TV tell them in which direction to look ( while stubbornly staring at the TV)
