I got something postmarked from the UK!

My super package from GeekySweetheart!!!  It's a zippered embroidery bag!!!

This is so rad! One of the girls from Knit Nite was trying to slip it into her jacket. Sneaky!
The bag is a very pale pink and the Han/Leia is yellow gingham with a protective coating on it to keep the integrity of the image I imagine. Lucky she did...some coffee and an unfortunate landing. Wiped right off!

The inside was lined w/ lavender gingham and one side had a pocket, otherside had flaps that hold pins and needles. Also, she included some cool coins from her native land. In her letter she stated an old wives tale about never giving a bag/wallet without something inside-otherwise it may always be empty.

The coolest thing is...well one of the coolest, this "wallet" is circular and big enough to hold a hoop! So, I could run around w/my own needlework project wallet. The talented GeekySweethear included a hoop w/ the purple gingham in it and pinned her letter on top. How did you know I needed another hoop exactly this size? So incredibly clever!

Amazing thing is, everything was upcycled! I love that. The pink outer fabric was from a bed sheet (so soft!), the ginghams were from a stash and zipper from the thrift store! IT JUST POPS!! (That's 2 pops for your list!)

Thank you so much Samantha!!! This will get LOTS of use for many years to come.
