After Pi Day (March 14 ((3.14)) ) I kept trying to make a mental note for today. Guess it makes a difference that I know what day of the week it is as well.

Background story - I'm 29 Weeks pregnant :-) Due in July - and the mission is to get as many geeky toys and accessories together as possible for my tummy monster.

I thought this swap would be a great opportunity to get some cute amigurumi dolly sweetness, and SilentBlair completely delivered!

First the card, which my Husb0t loves, there's a lot of rock and roll in our lives

The 'item' came in a beautifully embroidered bag (which y'know, it should be wrapped, but since we had to evacuate the base so quickly she didn't have the time, no hard feelings Blair)

Some very impressive long and shirt stitch on that Tauntaun:

And now ... *drumroll* the main event!

Oh yes, it is!

A close up on that crochet:

This is where my Wampa will wait (along with the baby Yoda hat which was bought for my by a friend). But it will be going in my hospital bag, and I will send pics of baby and Wampa when they are united!  Grin

Thankyou so much SilentBlair, we (me, Husb0t and bump) are really really happy with our Wampa!

x G

I received an amazing package several days ago, it's actually brilliant, take a look below!

Ooh! A Han Solo box! What's inside?

Only the coolest thing ever! Take a look at this craftsmanship!

I forget what erica_tattoos called this, but I believe it was something like a miniature shrine, and basically it's amazing, my favourite is this:

Anyways, thanks so much!

I am so happy you liked your Wampa, GeekySweetheart!

The Han Solo treasure box is so surprising! I could not have forseen the levels of coolness inside.
