These will eventually go into the ground outside with the rest off the egg and eggbox seedlings, but for now they make a cute display Smiley

Thanks! Yeah, as long as they have a few pin holes poked through their bottom they drain well so they can go straight into the ground. Smiley

When I saw the thumbnail of this I thought it was some sort of egg-on-spinach dish! And in fact this would be a perfect table decoration for such a breakfast! Using eggshells as seed starters is such a good idea (though I find you do have to crack the shells when you put them into the ground, as most seedlings grow much faster than the shells decay!) and making a display of them like this is absolutely brilliant!

And now I'm hungry. Wink That would make a fabulous breakfast, very Heston Blumenthal!

Ooh yes, definitely smoosh the bottoms when they're being planted out. I have sunflowers growing in another 2 and they definitely wouldn't thank me for leaving them trapped inside Cheesy

It looks pretty, it's recycling and it's practical; love, love, love!
Oh...what kind of plants are they?
