Poor Meowari can't find her camera cord to download photos so I said I would upload some photos for her...so here is what I sent to Meowari

Matchbox book in Meowari's colour theme red.

Mini Matchbox book

The contents of the matchbox...

Mini polymer clay cat bead

Mini polymer clay cat

Mini polymer clay cat side on

Some of the contents, from the themes of cats, red and books and a pigeon...

Some of the contents, from the themes of cats, red and books...plus the three polymer clay figures

Polymer clay pigeon bead I made for Meowari

I also crocheted a mini cat, that was quite cool but I didn't get a photo of it... Sad maybe if you find your camera cord you could post that one up Meowari...

OMG My mouth dropped open at a steampunk blue bug! One of the most incredible pieces I have ever seen on Craftster. Friggin' amazing! I would never get rid of the elephant either. I would hide him in a special place.

I received my beautiful matchbox from CamOovas last week and I'm sorry for not being able to post pictures earlier Smiley
Here's the cute little birdy in it's nest!

And all the other cool goodies I found inside!

I got some miniatures! Including a teeny weeny dog bone, lemon and lime slices, and the tiniest people I've ever seen (a woman sitting down, a man standing up, and an old man with a cane). She also sent me lots of sea glass and a sea glass pendant, shells, a Scrabble tile with my first initial on it, and a little singing bird (isn't it cute?).

Thank you so much CamOovas!

Even I will admit that fox is too tiny to be sensible. Cheesy I can't tell you how many times I thought I'd lost him while I was painting him and then setting him aside to dry.
I lost him when I was taking pictures.  He fell under the fireplace.  I had to employ a flashlight and a pair of tweezers to rescue him.  Grin

And I love the birdie matchbox, so cute.

Finally, here's the wonderful box I got from Killam Creative. Now I'm glad I waited to open it today because I was having a grumpy morning and this made it all better.

Inside the big mailing box was this little package. You just know it's going to be good, don't you?

This handsome fairy gent folds up from the top of the box. The little arrow turns to keep him upright. (The larger dial also turns, which is very cool.) The outside of the box is covered in the same Japanese washi paper as the tag on the outer package.

I love the fact that what I sent Susan includes a few things very similar to things she sent me! Clockwise from the matchbox gears:

  • 2 very interesting safety pins
  • a 3-D clock inchie (adhesive-backed)
  • a length of beautiful antique lace trim
  • a pair of + and - magnets (had to separate them for safety) Wink
  • a copper wire spiral
  • a lovely antique brass key
  • a pocket watch charm
  • a tiny laminated butterfly
  • 2 stamps, one with an airship and a walrus Cheesy
  • 2 little gilded leaf skeletons (my favourite out of the whole box!)
  • 2 gears (one is weighting down the leaves)

Thanks so much for this. The box is immediately going on display, and I'll make very good use of all the contents.

I love your steampunk matchbox. Great job Killam C!

Wulf, good thing you had the sense to separate those magnets. Things could have gotten ugly.  Cheesy

Goodbye, Craftster. Thanks for the memories.

I am so excited you don't even know xD I didn't feel good but stayed up til 5am working on a chainmaille present for my boyfriend and I knew it was the right time, today he has been extra depressed, and while it won't fix his problems, it'll cheer him up. So anyways, I woke up still feeling kinda bleh at about 1pm and dragged myself out of bed. As I walked through the family room I tiredly started at my kitchen, where I saw a brown box on the counter. I ran to the kitchen, grabbed it excitedly, tried to make a mad dash for my room, got stopped by my mom, I stared at her confusedly and she said she didn't feel well so she stayed home from work today, we lightly chatted, then I successfully ran into my room and I opened the box to see the epicness of two swaps. I started with the matchbox swap, and was greeted by the most amazing matchbox ever!!! Wolf is a freaking mind reader!!!! I have a huuuuge obsession with the Sex Pistols, especially right now <3

I saw this and freaked out excitedly. I had a feeling I knew what the other side would hold and yes indeed....

GOD SAVE THE QUEEN!!! This is my all-time favorite Sex Pistols song with Sex and Violence in a close second and Anarchy in the UK as the 3rd. I've had this song stuck in my head and I've been singing it nonstop for like a week or two now xD

Both sides read "No future"

Epic swag <3

Thank you so much Wulf! You made my day <3
