Here's my amazing clock from Craftsunderground. Prepare thyselves for awesomeness.

TA-DA! Isn't it amazing? Maria said this was her first steampunk craft ever. I'd say she nailed it!!

The face

So cool! She found this at an antique store where a clockmaker was selling pieces!

The back

Wow! This is a fan/propeller with a little crank handle on it....how genius is this?

Side view

Maria got the rest of the parts at antique stores--brass junk parts and a sconce lamp! This is SO my style...I love that you went antiquing to get all the pieces Smiley

Top view

The whole thing has a lovely patina/age to it and just looks like it came straight out of someone's fancy Victorian airship. The clock mechanism is held on by those little prongs on the left side of the last picture. It's so easy to take on and off to adjust, and it even has a big glass face! I love it!! I can't wait to show it off.

Thank you SO much, Craftsunderground! This is one of the greatest thing I've ever received in a swap! Thanks to our wonderful organizer for hosting, too...this has been so much fun Cheesy

I received from A2K last week but I'm only just now posting.  My exhausted, enormously pregnant body is slowing me down.  Sad

Anyway, A2K sent me the most A.W.E.S.O.M.E. clock ever!  Calvin & Hobbes!!  Check it out.

She also padded the clock with a giant pile of fiber.  Woo hoo!!

Thank you, A2K!  This is more awesome than anything I could have imagined.  Now I'm just looking for wall space worthy of such a clock!

So glad you like it, flower!  I learned a lot about my sewing machine doing that applique, too!  I don't think I quite managed to capture Calvin, but I love Hobbes!

I love that machine embroidery. Can't begin to understand how you did it.
As always, just amazed by the variety of technicques and high quality of the swaps.

Teesha Moore inspired patches--anyone want to swap?
