Just checking in.  Recital madness is over, so I should be able to get this done this week.
Anyone else read that as "rectal madness" at first? Sorry, I had to ask...

Thanks for all the well wishes and words of kindness! I'll keep on trucking' (whatever that means!)

I made some more progress today. I even made some things I hadn't planned on making. As soon as the kiln cools and the glaze dries I'll start looking for a box.

LMAO!!!  And I thought it was bad in sometimes mistaking "angus" for, ahem, something without a "g."  Needless to say, I don't eat a lot of beef.  Wink

My daughter actually dances for a studio and their performances (much better word) are just insane and time consuming.  She did amazing, my dad got a good nap, and my husband is even more disturbed than before at the concept of male dancers...

I have to say that most of my first package is purchased over crafted which I'm not entirely pleased with but the package itself is nice and says what I want it to say. Now to write about it! My friend helped me pick out some things too and now she is just excited about the swap as I am.  Smiley

Me, too.
I was having a hard time coming up with crafting ideas, but the purchased items kept rolling in so I went with it. Smiley
I ended up going over 10 mainly because of most of it being purchased items.  They do represent me well though, so I guess it is all ok.
I will probably mail out tomorrow.  I have another swap I need to focus on this next week and getting this package out will keep me from feeling like I have something I need to do. Smiley

I got all my little goodies boxed up last night, now if I could just manage to have a day off at some point in order to sit down and write out my letter to my partner prior to shipping.

Interested in personal swaps!

I have tomorrow and Thursday off and nothing to do but a few more bits of homework, so I'm hoping to get a lot done on the swap.

Looking for postcards from anywhere to use for RSVP cards for my 8/2012 wedding.  Have 80/200.

It's been boxed up for a while now, just waiting for payday to come around so I can get to the post office. I'm hoping my husband will be nice enough to take it on Friday, but if not, I'll have to squeeze in time somewhere else to get there.
