so what does one do when they're a week past their due date, anxiety is soaring, is probably getting induced monday, can't sleep, and for the first time in 9 months is FINALLY out of things to clean?

watch some tv and knit a pair of booties.

stopping to admire my work for a minute, i noticed whatever was on tv wasn't over, then glanced at the clock, and froze.
"did i seriously just make a pair of booties in approximately 20 minutes?" i ask myself in shock. i decide to go and knit another pair, and notice the time again. i sure the hell did make a pair of booties in 20 or less minutes. and so the madness began....

once i realized the wee hours of the night had disappeared and the sun was finally up, DH and i went on a nice long walk...which didn't make me tired nor start any contractions  Sad

so back to my couch i went. and the madness continued.

sleep finally occurred after this point, and then later awoke to find DH bringing me some soup Smiley

and then, yep you guessed it...the madness continued.

oh, the madness!

a pile of shit has a thousand eyes.

Oh oh oh! You have me laughing out loud. If this kind of madness isn't a sure sign your delivery is on its way, nothing is.  Grin
Instead of storing them in a cupboard, you could hang them on a string, like little flags, in the room.

Anyway, I'm wishing you a speedy relatively painfree delivery. Hang in there girl.

One thing is for sure, your baby will never have chilly toes! These are all very cute.

Good luck with everything! I hope we can see some action shots when the little one arrives Smiley.

This is hilarious, and also, very productive! Although, I'm sure baby won't need so many? Get yourself to Ebay and sell some of those beauties, and if baby still isn't here by the time they're sold, use the money for a labor inducing curry!

Oh, gosh - I'm laughing so hard I can hardly type!  I did the same thing only I did four sweaters and I sewed a bunch of these little overall things too.  (Mine HEARD the midwife say "induction" and she was born the next day after 20 minutes labor.  At home.  Delivered by three cops who arrived before the EMTs.)
