Hey fellow crafters.  i use to make these in highschool for instant piece of art.  Take beads of all kinds of shapes and colors and string them, ie each end into a big knot.  hold the bead strands while putting the big knot inside the bottle, spread beads out around the rim and place the top back on and clamp it down.  Instant art for a lonely end table or bookcase.  Not bad for a half and hour fun.
Fun to do with kids.

What if you shoved a candle down the bottle instead of putting the lid back on??  You could make a wax catcher out of tin foil to go around it, too.  I think that would be really nifty.  You could do a couple and put at the dining room table!  We've been drinking pop from glass bottles, so I'll have to give it a try  Cheesy  Thanks for the good idea!!
