This is my second attempt at a lace shawl! The first one turned out weird, although I blamed it on my having neglected to block it- I'm doing that now. Fingers crossed! Anyways, I knitted this shawlette to go along with a maxi dress I made for my superise 24th birthday party that I'm not supposed to know about. Cheesy I used a cotton/linen/silk yarn and size 2 needles. I wanted to see if I could get it finished in a week- I started last Thursday, and I took it off the blocking mat at 11:30, so I cut it close but I got it done. I'm really thrilled to have it finished! Thanks for looking!

Always pleased to look at the pretties, so no need to thank people for looking.

That is really quite beautiful.
What's the name of the pattern? And/or where did you get it from?

I like the differences in the lace overall.

That took you a week??!! I'm lucky if I can finish an amigurumi in a week, let alone a lace shawl on size 2 needles.  It looks great, and I'm sure you'll be stunning at your "surprise" party Wink
