Cigar boxes are so cool looking and I've been wanting to play with them for years....

But the smell of them REALLY turns me off.  Does the smell go away??

Yours look awesome, you've made me REALLY REALLY REALLY want to play with them! lol

The president of the company I work for gets cigars in the nice wooden boxes and then gives the empty boxes to me.  To get rid of the smell, I put a cupcake paper full of baking soda in the box, close it and forget about it for a few weeks.  That's usually enough time for it to smell clean; otherwise, change the baking soda and leave it be for a while longer.

These boxes are just incredible.  They look like something that one would purchase at a high-end home accents/decoration store.  I'm so impressed!

Thanks for the compliments. I actually thought they were barely passing for decent. There's really not that much to them.

My blog, Soap Deli News, is filled with homemade soap, beauty, and bath and body recipes. You can also find me on Pinterest and Instagram.
