Last December I participated in my first art show featuring a handful of my embroidered pieces. I had an awesome night and even managed to sell some works, which I was blown away by. Here's a post I did for the flyer for the show. https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=364688.msg4282693#msg4282693 It was all embroidered, then cut into individual pieces, pinned in place, scanned, printed then photocopied. I wanted it to have a DIY punk flyer feel but still using embroidery as the main focus.

And here is a few photos of the newer pieces I had in the show and some pics from the night.

All done using either two threads, single thread or a single thread split in half or quarters. I actually finished her about 30mins before we opened the doors. Phew.

And this one is called Reminder. Yeah it kind of looks like a penis upon first glance and no that wasn't intentional but hey, it sold!

Me with all my works.

Everyone who participated in the show.

I love the pieces. Her lips are so perfect and the bow on the finger is so great. Congrats on the show.
