hey guys..i just moved to the stroudsburg area and am in search iof anyone and anything related to art/crafts/sewing/etc in the general vicinity. i've just graduated from college in boston (studied painting) and know about four people here.  also, if anyone is in the area is interested in started a sewing circle or something of the sort.  i am very open to ideas and hope to meet people in the area who are interested in livening things up around here!

lol you might convince me to go see my mom more often.  She lives right outside of East Stroudsburg. I think there is a yarn store on Washington Street there in stroudsburg..I think it's around the court house..I'm not positive though.

Not yarn related, if you're into halloween type stuff check out Frazetta's Fantasy Corner.  I will figure out the name of the street when i'm not at work....if you go past the wal-mart...when you get to the light where you can either veer left or go right towards ESU you should veer left and it's on the right hand side at the stop light where the road turns into a two-way street again.  They have a ton of cool stuff. IMHO at least  Wink

I'm new to the area too.  I live near Bloomsburg.  It's eastern or central PA-- depending who you ask.  I'm totally up for some crafting and thrifting.

apparently (just checked mapquest) I'm only 45 minutes away from stroudsburg.  I got excited.  If anyone around the area wants to meet up and hit up some craft stores, let me know

I have chosen to break free from your poisoned society.
