i suppose this is the best category in which to post this.
as i prepared for my shower today i realized that my hair had combed out this morning into perfect straight bangs.  this almost never happens, so i was determined to keep my style going for the day.  however, i have no shower cap, as i have very short hair and haven't had use for one until today.  now, i'm not the kind of girl who skips a shower unless there isn't one around, so i made one out of a gallon sized ziploc bag and some yarn.

it's very silly-looking, but functional.
all that is required is to slit one side of a gallong plastic bag, put it on your head, and pinch either side together to fit your head.  take it off, tie yarn around the "pigtails" and put it back on your head and hop into the shower.

I'm all about home made shower caps. It seems as if everytime I go on vacation or stay at someone's house I ALWAYS forget my shower cap! I can almost promise that I'll be making one of these things in the near feature.

That is actually really cute I think! I will wear one out and about tomorrow. Perhaps I will need one for school too. I need yarn to match every outfit now!

It could be a updated rain cap too.  A nice alternative to plastic granny bonnets.
