Here's the second Sophie purse I made from the Mag Knits free pattern.  She took about a week and 1/2 to complete, including felting and lining.  I had considered adding some detail with some orange PVC I have, but I think she is beautiful as is:

The handles didn't stay twisted on one side to my liking.  That will probably drive me crazy, but otherwise I am really happy with how she turned out.

I wanted to give y'all a good view of the fabric I used for the lining.  I found this in a thrift store a few years ago, and actually wasn't in love with it then.  Now I am *crazy* about it!

I'm currently working on a dress in this orange paisley fabric (which is 100% cotton, I think), which I will hopefully get to post about soon!

Andrea,  Love the bag!!  What type of yarn is it?  I love the pink/orange together.

Thanks!  It's JoAnn's Licorice yarn in the purple/orange/yellow colorway.  It's a great thick-n-thin yarn that I bought last winter (and made booties for myself with it).
