For my daughter's first birthday party I did an Alice in Wonderland theme, except I called it Alex in Wonderland since her name is Alex, which you probably already figured out.  Smiley  This is the dress I made for her, I used the Tim Burton and Disney movies for inspiration.  I didn't use a pattern, I made it up myself.

Big ol' eyes!  The white rabbit button is one from my stash that I instantly knew had to be a part of this dress.

This is best picture I have of the front, she isn't a very cooperative model.  Smiley

Side view.  Something is wrong with a bit of the bias tape there, but I didn't realize it till at the party.  Undecided

The back.  I need to learn how to do zippers, because getting a squirmy baby into a lace up dress is quite a challenge!

You made her an amazing costume!
It looks so good on her.
And without a pattern? Great job!

That is sooooo cute! I would wear an adult version of this dress in a heartbeat. It is just great!

My wedding this last September was "Alexz in Wonderland." Great minds think alike!  Cheesy

And you have an amazingly beautiful little girl there. Her eyes are stunning!
