So I had to come up with a quick and dirty present for a friend whose birthday I almost forgot.  She loves Coraline, so I thought I'd start there.  (Please forgive the pics, they were taken with the old, always slightly blurry camera)

The pictures were line drawings that I colored in.  I printed the images off a web site that I unfortunately no longer have bookmarked.  If you recognize the pictures, please let me know the site because I'd love to give them a shout out!

She also loves PJ Harvey, and it is impossible to find any merch for her anymore.  Also, Yuri-G is her favorite song.  I made her a key-chain...

And used a hand-drawn image of PJ off the cover of Four Track Demos.  Now you can see why I printed the Coraline pictures...

I wanted to make them both a little fancier, but I had to get them both together in about two hours, and that included drying time for the glues and sealant.  I like the Coraline purse charm a lot better than I like the PJ one.  But I still want to try my hand at making more PJ Harvey crafts!  : )

I have an Etsy store now, thanks to peer pressure: http://www.etsy.com/shop/MazikeenStudios
I'm also trying to make 7 things a week for a year.  http://mazikeenstudios.blogspot.com/  (Warning: this is usually pretty behind!)

Great execution!  I'm a HUGE Coraline fan and I love the purse charm, so I know she'll love it, as well as the PJ one.
