IMPORTANT: Also, remember to read the Swap Info Guide to find other rules about participating in a swap.https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=6553.0 this is a great tip for being a great swapper and the link to all swap rules are there too Smiley

Please bookmark this thread  post here. All updates will be made here and this will help you to keep up with everything also, please bookmark the discussion and the gallery threads!

How This Swap Works:
Please READ CAREFULLY! This swap works differently than most!

Try to imagine a chain.  The first link is the first person whose wish list is on page 1 (Person A) - that will be the craftster member who was the very last wish list from Ongoing Wish Swap 67.

Now, we want to put another link in the chain.  People will read that list and see if there is something they want to/can make from the list.

Someone (Person B) will claim Person A for some item on their wish list.  They post a reply to the thread that says I claim Person A for [item].  This is my X claim (however many times they have picked someone for example, "this is my fourth wish, with one sent, and three received, (meaning that this is the fourth claim they've made, one is in transit to it's destination, and three of the items have been received by the people they previously claimed).  Also add your location, and any preferences or aversions I live in Wisconsin USA, I am a vegetarian, and I am allergic to wool.

IT'S REALLY IMPORTANT THAT YOU REPLY WITH YOUR STATUS WHEN YOU CLAIM SOMEONE!  This means you need to post who you are claiming and for what, how many claims you have made, including how many in transit and how many received, and your location/preferences/aversions. I.E. 4/0/1 = 4 claims-1 in transit-1 received by partner

Then comes the fun part!  After the introduction, Person B is the last link in the chain, and they post their wish list!!!  YOU CAN HAVE AS MANY ITEMS ON YOUR WISH LIST AS YOU WANT, HOWEVER YOU MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF FIFTEEN MED PER SECTION i.e. CRAFTS and SUPPLIES.  THE MORE ITEMS YOU LIST, THE BETTER YOUR CHANCES OF BEING CLAIMED QUICKLY.

(Please have your list ready, this swap moves very quickly! If not I will skip you and or remove your claim!!  Please include your country at the start of your wish list). Person B will also PM Person A to get her address so they can mail the item when it is finished.

Along comes Person C, who claims Person B for something on their list and the chain is built, link by link.  (If Person C wanted to make Person B a purse AND a stuffie, that would still count as ONE WISH.)  Then they post their list, and so on.

When you want to make a claim, you can ONLY pick from the very last wish list in the chain.  You can't pick anyone else in the chain - you can only connect to the very end of the chain, which is that last wish list posted.

After you have made your claim, you need to PM that person for their address.

Friends of Craftster are allowed UP TO 3 wishes at one time as per the orgs discression, others are allowed 2 wishes.  If this is your first swap, you are only allowed one wish at a time until your crafts are received for this month.  Do not choose over your given limit. HOWEVER the orgs reserve the right to tell you that you may only claim one or two items at a time if you have had issues in the past with shipping late!!!!

Become a Friend of Craftster!  Go here: https://www.craftster.org/subscribe.php

If you are at your limit of wishes, you can choose again once one of your partners receives AND you have confirmation they have, NOT when you send.

***Do not claim someone unless you can fulfill that wish to a high caliber***

Unsure of where to find wish ideas?  Try the previous ongoing wish swap galleries or any other gallery on craftster.  Look through your fellow crafters wist lists, ETSY etc

YOU HAVE TWO WEEKS (14 days from the time you claim)TO GET YOUR ITEM OUT THE DOOR.This starts from the day you claim must be out the door BY the 14th day!

( the medium can be a couple small items etc as long as it adds up to a medium )
( A medium item equals a MIN of two+ hours of crafting time or $20-30usd worth of store bought items )
Feedback will be given as soon as you have sent - received -posted pics but will be up to 2 weeks after the swap closed if you do not post pics and this will be noted and you might not get allowed back in the next round if you cant do this! Please take pics before you ship! This is a rule not an option!!!

Please be communicative if you are having any issues. If you communicate you still need to send your item in a timely manner.  Communication does not mean you can send as late as you want.  After one week past the deadline( on the 7th day) you will have negative feedback.  This is only temporary as it will be changed back once you fulfill your obligation for late item(s).  Do not choose to craft an item if you do not think you can meet these deadlines

If you are confused in any way by how this works, please look at some previous rounds:

My name is Karrie and I live in Canada.  I've been with hubby for 13 yrs and we have 2 little ones (who are growing up so! fast)  Daughter is 5 and son is 3.  I work at home making wedding stationery, so I get to craft every day!  I've recently fallen Back in love with sewing and knitting.

My tastes are usually clean and simple - classic, timeless - but I really like things that are just stinkin' cute, too!  I love all colors, but my favorites tend to be a deep chocolate brown, bright turquoise, hot pink and bright turquoise green.  Having said that, I mostly wear black and charcoal.    I'm a walking contradiction!  But I'm not too fond of neon at all...  I love cute owls, funky trees and cool mod patterns.  Really don't like floral prints unless they are mod.  I also like eye-catching geometric patterns, too - and really like dark solids with bright pops of color.

I have changed everything over from my wists to Pinterest.com, you'll get a good idea of things I like in there...  I've dedicated a whole board to fabrics that catch my eye...

I am allergic to cats and angora - they both make me red, and itchy with crazy red, watery eyes!  Not fun.

So on to my list!

-> Insulated lunch bags, sandwich bags, etc in a theme (looking for Cat in the Hat or Construction Vehicles for my son, looking for anything uber-Girlie for my daugther, anything masculine for the hubby, and anything mod for myself)

-> Any type of skirt for myself - PM me for measurements, including length.

-> Any type of skirt or dress for my daughter - children's size 6.  The more girlie, the better!

->  I would love some owl jammy pants - brown background with bright, cute owls preferable.  PM me for size.

->  I'd love a mod laptop sleeve - one that's really plump.  Prefer chocolate and pink -- I've got a huge laptop, so PM me for measurements!

 ->  A tabletop ironing pad

Stencil or Appliqu
-> Any t-shirt like Sheldon wears in Big Bang Theory would be awesome!  Ladies' FITTED Size L.

->  Boy's size 3 shirt with a mighty machine (any kind of construction vehicle) on it for my son.

->  Girl's size 6 shirt with anything girly for my daughter (flowers, etc...)

-> Another tree of life pendant with green beads, this time for my mom!  She absolutely adores mine (thanks atsuko!)

-> A loaded charm/bead bracelet like this one, but in purples & greens, or pinks & greens.  Some matching drop earrings (not too long only about 1") would be cool, too!

-> I would love yarns - kettle dyed or kool-aid dyed.  The color combinations look so fun!

->  I would love any fabric like these ones - many of my "to do" projects need 2 yards, but fat quarters are awesome too!

->  Any vintage dress pattern from 50's, 60's or 70's - preferably in Ladies' Size 10-12, and sizes 8-10!!

->  Heavyweight Iron-on interfacing - I am always running out

->  Any of these craft books

->  Oliver + S patterns - girls' size 6, boys' size 4 --> I do have a few already, so you might want to PM me to find out which ones I've got

->  Old shaker knit sweaters in white, women's size L, regular neckline - I have a recon project for these!!

->  A soft, fine wool in a charcoal or a cocoa color to make a coat (I would need 3 yards, so if there's a big sale, I would love you forever!)

->  Insulated batting for making potholders (can't get that here either)

->  Decorative zipper pulls of all kinds (my selection here really sucks)

->  Any Amy Butler bag pattern (except the weekender bag - I've already got that one)

Thanks so much for claiming me!

Hello, I am Monica I live inthe USA in North Carolina on the last bank of the outer banks. I am easy going and love a lot of things..Look at my wists I love fabric and fun but in the styles in my wist really. I am raising my 2 grandkids, we have now 3 wild dogs. A French Bulldog Ralphie, and a Boston Terrier Bella. We are into the outdoors, fish hunt etc. I ride a motorcycle and drive a fast car when not in kid mode Smiley We love pirates, Sugar skulls and I am a total preppy really. I hate crew neck tees like hanes men styles. I only ware v neck or scoop neck tees. Love them. I do not ware dark colors at all. I am a pink, yellow, seafoam, light blue, girl

We have a child in the house with hard core allergies and asthma she cant be around cig. smoke at all..If you smoke in the house please pass on claiming us. If you are an outdoor smoker then must wash hands well as the tar stuff is what she really cant be around.
We cant have anything that is Kelly green ( like a pillow, tee that sort of thing.) it is a weird trigger color for my grandson who has autism.it is fine as an accent but not as a color for something really...

I claim babalina58 for a hoop of some sort Smiley  I'll try to make it pretty Wink

Hello, Im Kirsten, Im a full time student. I live in New Zealand, married with two stepsons and two spoilt cats. I love art and I do a lot of drawing and printmaking.

I like most colours, and particularly blue/green/teal/aqua, natural tones, or black and white. Im not so keen on pastels and pinks/purples (though dusty/dull shades can be nice). For metals, I like silver, copper or antiqued finishes, rather than gold. I tend to like things that are plainish and textured rather than very patterned. Some styles I particularly like are mid-century modern, Scandinavian, Japanese (but not kawaii). I usually like artsy-fartsy rather than cutesy Smiley

I dont have allergies. I prefer natural fibres, but not exclusively. Im happy to chat, and easy to please.

Thank you for picking me!!

* wisty surprise - http://wists.com/jemimah My wist will give you a pretty good picture of my tastes Im fine with inspired by rather than exact replicas, so feel free to use the wist as a starting point for your own creative idea. Smiley
- I have been wisting up a storm, and have tried to make my tags more helpful too!!

* a Star Trek or Doctor Who thingy, whatever you like to make, my faves are Spock, tardis and daleks. (Useful rather than decorative is usually my preference, but any Spock, tardis, or dalek item that lands in my letterbox will find a home). Some ideas Tardis journal, etui, needle book; daleks on anything; Spock stationery, journal.
* pick another one of my fave things and make something in your favourite craft medium (again, great if its useful, but not essential) e.g. fox, British robin, robot (more in profile info)
* things to put other things in box, purse, organiser, etc. always welcome
* protective folder to store artwork in A4 or A3 would be great

* a pockety bag lots of different size pockets for projects/art supplies, any style or size, doesnt have to have any zippers or be a complicated design
* a tardis pockety bag would be truly awesome
* a tea cosy or coffee plunger cosy sewn (stencilled/appliqu/embroidered/whatever), rather than knitted. Simple, plain style great. Made from recycled felted wool would be cool too. I can send measurements. Themes:- for the tea cosy, Cake or Death? (Eddie Izzard quote); NEWDalek (I dream of one with a dalek saying Insulate! in fact I might just have to make this myself Cheesy); some sort of Star Trek or Dr Who theme
* something embroidered (hand or machine, a panel for me to make into something, or a finished item basically, anything you think I might like!)
* organiser things (e.g. project holder, thing for storing small supplies and bits, stationery organiser) any size. (I love the things Ive received, I always need more though! Smiley) Some ideas in wist, but other styles are good too.
* sketch book cover to fit spiral-bound A3, A4, or A5, whichever size you feel like making.
* full apron fun vintage-y style, or plain, durable fabric
* sewing ideas

* hand dyed or hand spun yarn
* handknitted wool socks (womens size 9-10, any colour) (I know, this is a big one!)
* socks/slippers for wearing around the house something simple to make, not fancy maybe made of old felted jumpers or something? (womens size 9-10) I am not fussy about the style, this is all about comfort. I will be working at home all year ...
* knitted slouchy hat chartreuse, rich or dull red (not too orange-y or dark please), dull denim blue, or dull greyish rose one of these patterns or similar http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/star-crossed-slouchy-beret http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/early-morning-beret
* if youre interested in knitting something, these are some things I want in my ravelry faves (I dont necessarily want all the other things in my ravelry faves though Smiley) ravelry there are some smaller things like fingerless mitts in there
* wisty things made of felt or felted wool

* handmade stamps in a theme I like (see my profile and wists), e.g. birds, frogs, fish, trees, art related, Tardis, dalek, Star Trek
* Star Trek or Dr Who themed stationery
* stationery ideas

* handmade ceramic item, esp. in celadon green (but any colours are good) ceramic ideas
* hair sticks/comb/pin or shawl pin not too girly please, see wist

* or something else that I havent thought of, that you think Id like!

CRAFT SUPPLIES (many of these things are VERY expensive here, more than 2x US prices)

* real silk for embroidery, any colours, any brand, any type this is my big wish, its hideously expensive where I live (its probably not that cheap where you live, but I bet its cheaper than here! a very small envelope will be cheap to post, and will make me very happy Smiley). I particularly love Soie d'Alger (made by Au Ver Soie). If you send me some Soie d'Alger, I will also send you a tiny pretty made with it by way of extra thanks. Smiley
* interesting embroidery supplies (please stick with quality over quantity, Id much rather have a tiny envelope with a few lovely skeins/little things than lots of cheap floss/beads, and it's also cheaper for postage!) The sort of stuff I like is DMC, anything silk or linen, Au Ver Soie, Japanese stuff, bits for goldwork (purl, kid, etc.), handmade/hand dyed, quirky things. Vintage/second hand is fine.  No Aida please.
* silk or embroidered fabric, Japanese fabric, kimono fabric, good linen for embroidery, wool doctors flannel, natural coloured linen, nice fat quarters (just smallish pieces of fabric are fine; no bulk fabric Id love it, but it may bankrupt you to mail it) - theres lots of fabric I like in my wist.
* Noro yarn, other silk/luxury yarn, artisan yarn (I have a great local source for good wool yarns, so while I love that too, its not worth you mailing it to me Smiley)
* thick stampcarving material (I have the tools, but the only stuff to carve I can easily find here is lino and small erasers)
* nice paper - e.g handmade, japanese, printmaking, textured, any colour or weight - it's for printmaking, so plain or subtle rather than very patterned is best.
* small art supplies items:-
     - I REALLY want a Diamond Point Scribe (- the second item on this page)  I will send you a tiny etching artwork if you send me one of these, as an extra thank you Smiley
     - pencils, markers and pens (Prismacolor/Derwent/Caran D'Ache/Posca for example, or similar)
     - peel and sketch charcoal pencils
     - drypoint etching supplies (roulette, plastic for etching)
     - inkpads, little stencils, stamps, etc.
* 100% wool felt, eco felt < Ive never seen eco felt available here (I have stacks of ordinary synthetic felt already though)
* bamboo DPNs (I have quite a few sizes in metal, but no bamboo)
* DMC StitchBow floss holders - just the gold coloured sticks (I have plenty of the plastic pockets to put them in)
* small sewing supplies rickrack, bias binding, cotton tape/ribbon, grosgrain
* blanks for pendants or brooches (not shiny gold though)

* yarn leftovers/oddments in any shades of blue or green, anything over about 1/4 ball (~16 metres or more) will be useful for my project. Wool or wool blends preferred please, any weight.
* I always enjoy bookmarks, vintage/interesting buttons, little pouches, etc.
* small chipboard shapes, a little paper ephemera (maps, vintage, black and white, foreign language)
* no candy (I like it TOO much)

Phew!! I hope I've got enough on my list! Cheesy

Smiley Smiley Thank you to everyone who has sent me lovely things!!! Some things are still on my list, because I love what you sent, and I am happy to receive similar things again.

NB. New Zealand has tough biosecurity at the border. This is very unlikely to apply to this swap, but just in case ... Please dont send natural materials (feathers, leaves, wood, seeds e.g. lavender, etc.) Everything on my list is absolutely fine to send, but PM me if youre unsure about something. Thanks  Smiley

I claim jemimah for a coffee plunger cosy and a shawl pin  Smiley

Hiya, I'm Molly! I live in Oklahoma with my hubby (April will be our one year!) in an old 1920's home. We have one fluffy kitty named Arthur. I am an office manager by day Mon-Friday (craftster helps me de-stress!!), and an ADD avid crafter the rest of the time. In recent years I love sewing, but also jewelry making, soapmaking, screenprinting (hope to do more in the future) and working with stoneware clay at times.
My wists and etsy faves are a good indicator of my tastes, everything on there makes me happy just to look at it! My favorite colors are vivid aqua, turquoise and blue greens, grass, sage and the inside of an avocado green. Also daffodil and saffron yellow and pink grapefruit. I really love the combo of citrus colors together, and pictures of Greece with the blue-green ocean, bright white buildings and cobalt blue roofs.
I like nature (owls, birds, trees, water lilies, lotus blossoms), dots, cupcake/sweet themes, Hello Kitty and sweet vintage flower designs. I also really like Victorian, French and Art Nouveau themes.
I do NOT like skulls, 80's, dark/morbid themes, super cutesy/granny crafts, animal prints, strong scents (headaches)
I like black, white and brown as neutral/accent colors, and when it comes to metals silver or antiqued brass/copper, but please no gold. I am allergic to nickel, so sterling silver, silver plated, surgical steel and nickel free metals are best when it comes to earrings-- everything else doesn't matter on the metal.
We are low carb, so please no sugary sweets to tempt me! Smiley
Things in bold I would, like, love you forever! BUT, everything on my list I would be very pleased with, and thank you for claiming me. Smiley

~ Hoopla/wall art that is owl themed. My mom opened a shop called Owl Make It--- it needs lots of owly love!
~Diochroic glass earrings or pendants-- my mom loves the stuff (especially purples, greens, blues), and I would love a pair of stud earrings
~Thread catcher/pincushion combo
~Camera bag/pouch. I got a really nice digi camera for my birthday, and I keep meaning to make something nice and protective to carry it in! PM me for measurements. Maybe something like this?
~Ironing board cover in a fun fabric, standard size-- I don't need padding, just something to cover my interfacing infested one instead of the towel that is currently fused to it.

~Fabric tags that say The Chartreuse Lily for me to sew into items that I make. *Or* I would be just as pleased with a tute on how to make them with my Print Gocco!

~Yoga pants or skirt, size Medium

~Yoga mat carrying bag

~Needlebook of any kind, but I love this one!

~Huge buttons Especially wooden like these-

~Fitted shirt or tunic in a nature theme, womens size M-L (Pm me for measurements). There are lots of examples on my wists. I would also love a swallow or bird on an upper shoulder, as though it had just swooped over it. I really prefer a girly looking top/tunic over one that looks like a T-shirt, since I would like to wear it on my casual day at the office, and regular T-shirts are too casual.

~A coupon organizer-- mine was cheapy cardboard, and it is falling apart!

~Jewelry stand/organizer for my bedroom. I love the trees like on my wists, but I think they would be difficult to make and expensive to ship! I would be thrilled with anything that would be functional for this, our bedroom is chocolate brown and a very light blue. I mostly wear earrings.

~Hair combs-- metal or any design that you think I would like. I get headaches really easily, and I want to try these to help me hold my thick wavy hair back, away from my face!

~Placemats/table centerpiece (for a small table, 10-11" inches circumference)/napkin rings. Newly married we are definitely still in the acquisition phase, my hubby really likes to decorate for the holidays. Anything springy/Easter, St. Patty's Day, summery/4th of July or year 'round/seasonal in general. We have fall and Christmas covered. Smiley

~Wallet with room for lots of cards, cash, coins and a checkbook! In fabric from my wists/etsy, or I would be happy to send fabric.
Mine that I love that is looking pretty ragged is kind of like this (don't like this fabric)
I would be happy with vintage/secondhand items in good shape, and I would be thrilled with an all supplies package.
~Photo emulsion for making new screens for screenprinting

~Fabric- Any designer prints, or cute fabric you think I'd like. Really cute designer, I would even be thrilled with scraps for patchwork! Anything else from a fat quarter-ish size on up please. Most wanted: anything from or similar to my wist or etsy favorites. Also cotton 'boy' prints; cars, monsters, something to make boy lunch bags, travel art packs, etc. from.
-Solids: I would love solid canvas, duck cloth, home decor weight, kona cotton or linen in any color.

~Sewing books with or without patterns; preferably classic and not dated, or modern like One Yard Wonders or The Bag Making Bible, but I could really use an old school techniques book, too.

~Organza bags in any color

~Dover clip art book, especially with CD included. Please PM me to make sure I don't already have it. Smiley

~Sewing patterns for bags, wallets, purses, slippers, thread catcher.

~Buttons-- love them, all sizes, shapes and colors, need my collection to grow!

~100% wool felt

~Resin instruction- I got a lot of molds for Christmas, any tips/tricks/tools of the trade would be greatly appreciated! I'm really interested in resin work like this etsy seller does:

~Medium to heavy weight iron on interfacing

~Walking foot for Janome Sewist sewing machine
~Bias tape attachment foot for Janome
~Hardware for bags/wristlets: Especially magnetic closures-- standard or hidden. Also keychains, lobster claws, D-rings, purse forms etc.

~Snaps, grommets in any size

~Sew in velcro, any color or size

~Sari silk; ribbon or yarn form

~Jewelry supplies: Ring blanks, bracelet blanks, bobby pins, Toggle closures for bracelets/necklaces, lengths of chain, crimp closures like for using silk ribbon for a pendant, pendant trays, ring bezels with trays, jump rings, wire in any gauge, earring findings-- on these, preferably silver plated or sterling, but oxidized/antiqued that is nickel free is welcome.
~Modge podge

~Diamond glaze

~Emery sand for pincushions

~Leather pieces-- any kind, I'd like to experiment with using it for the soles of slippers
Etsy patterns-
The Perfect Wallet
The Diva Satchel
Pleated zipper pouches
Two purse patterns

Any kind of tea, gum, nuts, hot sauce from your area (hubby is an addict!), stickers
