Those books look amazing. I cannot begin to imagine how long it must have taken you to make these (and 4 times at that!) Just looking at your pictures makes me want to dig out my Harry Potter books and reread the series.

I'm amazed! Where did you get the content from?
They all look amazing and the trunk does as well, this is the most awesomest gift ever! And you did it 4 times.... I bow to you!

hey, did you use a tutorial for the printing the books? I've been trying to print 2 books, but every tutorial i find doesn't give me te result I want. LOL. It pulls the paper back in, and prints it upside down anyway LOL!

Thanks to everyone for the comments.  I'm glad you like them!

I wrote the content for all of the books except the three by JK Rowling (Fantastic Beasts, Tales of Beedle the Bard and Quidditch Through the Ages).  I gathered info from various Harry Potter fan sites on the internet and did a lot of editing.  I thought I knew the books pretty well but I was amazed at how much I learned!

LA-Fairy:  I used a software program called ClickBooks to do the printing.  It handled the pagination and everything very well.  It did take some struggling at the beginning to learn how to use the program but once I figured it out, it did a great job.

I did write up a description of my process on instructables.com when I entered a contest.  It has links to tutorials on how to make the various types of books.  It doesn't have step-by-step photos since I wasn't planning to do that sort of thing but I did try to explain it as best I could.  The link to that is:  http://www.instructables.com/id/Harry-Potter-Trunk-and-Books/

Thanks again for the compliments!
