Not a very original name, but none-the-less, that is who it's for!  This was a custom order diaper bag for a friend.  I've done weekend bags similar to this.  Basically, remove the side elastic pockets and you have a weekender bag!!  Just with a ton more pockets. Smiley

So, here are the specs.  It has an adjustable shoulder strap and two handles.  (I need to shorten them. They're too long)

Zipper top closure...

A zipper pocket on the outside back...

A zipper pocket on the inside with 2 bottle pockets, and 4 slide pockets.

Outside has 2 elastic bottle pockets.

I drafted my own dimensions and pattern for this bag.  It's really not too difficult.  There are two trapezoid shapes, basic rectangles for the bottom and sides, then trapezoid shapes for the elastic bottle pockets.  The dimensions are at work so if you're interested in them, let me know and i'll edit the post to include them later.

Thanks so much for looking!  c/c welcome around here Smiley

What a fun and practical bag!!

I love making diaper bags because each mother has her own way of "organizing" all of the stuff babies need! Cheesy

Great job!

I love the colors!  It would make a great weekend bag, even with the side pockets, if you carry a water bottle.  Lucky Mama!

Great bag!
Just curious how you are going to shorten the handles.  I have made handles too long and I end up leaving them that way because I haven't figured out a good way to shorten them aside from taking the bag apart.  Always on the lookout for a new idea. Smiley

Well, it's not the best way...cause I first attempted to do some seam ripping but I had sewn the handles on sew solidly, that the fabric was ripping instead of the seams Sad So, I just cut the handle in half, and sewed it back together shorter.  If someone thought that's the way it's supposed to be, they wouldn't think much of it.  It doesn't look too bad because it matches the adjustable strap.

Looking at the picture, that sounds like a great solution for these handles.

I, too, like to sew securely (especially handles), but it is a pain when I have to rip those stitches out. Smiley

I think your bag is great!
