My mouth dropped open when I saw this! So beautiful! And so tiny! You have a lot of talent!

Once again, thank you, everyone -- your comments warm me to the bone.

From some of the comments, I'm compelled to explain that my friend who really truly believes in fairies is 5 years old.  Smiley  And for those who think this is too fragile a gift for a 5 year old, well, most of the time I would agree, but my friend is quite careful.

And if it gets broken, it can be fixed.  Wink

This is so pretty.  You are awesome!  If I shrink sometime soon, will you make ME a fairy house to live in?  LOL

Oh my GOSH! (SEEEEriously??) This is just far too tiny and too beautifully crafted to be true. IMHO, this is just precious. I totally dig the explanation of what went into this. I emplore your patience in working with such tiny mediums... Not to mention, your fine photography skills! Not only did you pull of an AMAZING and impecable fairy house out of a boring 1/144 gazebo, but you showed it to us in such fantastic detail! Absolutely..... worthy! Your fairy-loving friend is a lucky friend indeed!

I must admit to cheating -- my photography "skills" are obscenely enhanced because Mr. Jivvy bought me one of these: Gagne Porta-Studio by Porta-Trace

It makes a WORLD of difference in photographing wee little things.  Wink

fiddlegirl8, if you can still reach your keyboard to let me know when you shrink, I'll make you a place to live.  Cheesy
