I was invited as a  bridesmaid 2 months later, and I am learning sewing and design, i want to change my dress to another style, which look cute. (Guess cute style suits me)
Can anyone tell me is there any way I can do.
I could buy new one, but I just want to make some different.

PS:  the original dress was too long for me(I am not tall), since I am little puffy, the dress do not look good on me.
I was thinking cutting it short(not equal cut ), and make a bandage.

PPS: Any ideas would be appreciated, thanks in advance!
