I finished outfit number two as part of the Colette Pattern Spring palette challenge.
I made a button back blouse with red bias binding detail and matching red gabardine high waisted shorts. I might not get a lot of wear out of this in Spring but I'm sure I will come Summer.

There are a lot more pictures and information on my blog for those interested.
Thank you

Very cute!  I am confused--did you use Colette patterns or make your own/use another brand.

I didn't use a Colette pattern, I drafted my own but Colette patterns are currently having a Spring palette challenge going where all participants are sewing a Spring mini wardrobe in a colour palette chooses by each individually. I have a sort of nautical colour palette in navy, red and white/ivory.
This is just one outfit I made as part of the challenge.
Sorry about the confusion.

Wow, cute stuff! Love the shorts, I am cooking up more shorts patterns for this summer as well. I will have to check out your blog, oh, and I love your hair!

Lets all go to Jack Taylor's to celebrate!

I really like the outfit! Red, white, high-waisted, and vintage-inspired are all some of my favorite things!

Best wishes for the rest of the Spring palette challenge! I'm sure some more beautiful things are to come Smiley
