Welcome to Round 26 of the WWP Swaps, Ostara Edition!

Ostara, Eostere, the Spring Equinox. The season of balance between light and dark and the celebration of growth and spring. This is the celebration of new life (seed starting and home purification) and new endeavors. Join us for a round of fun!

This swap will consist of a medium and a small. Participants will be decorating or making a basket and stuffing it with at least one small. Making a basket may be considered a medium or if minimial work is done on a basket (one purchased) the participant can create another medium. Do what feels fair in time and effort. (Don't buy a basket, do nothing to it and only make a small. This swap calls for a medium and a small). The term "basket' can also include bowls and other containers to put Ostara-related things in! Be creative!

Ideas may include things like candles, sage smudging sticks, incense blends, altar decorations, related recipes, spells and related artwork!

I'm in! Cheesy

To get us started, here's author Judika Illes on Easter eggs:
When a major fertility symbol like a rabbit presents another fertility symbol, like an egg, a very clear message is being sent. (For those unfamiliar with the birds and the bees, in real life rabbits do not hatch eggs, ever. Should a rabbit ever be seen with an egg, something magical is going on.)

Yay! I don't care what the calendar, the thermometer or the snowplow say, Spring begins NOW!

Wow, you've got a lot of pets! I'm a bit jealous.. I did the same, too, because I have two cats and a wood burning stove.
