I made these two berets recently. The first one is made from cream cotton and the second one is a bluey-grey mohair(ish) cotton.
I didn't follow any patterns, I just made it up as I went along.

Can't really see the detail in this pic so I re-took the picture with the cream beret under it.

I love berets. I think the cream one under the blue on looks kinda neat....I know it was just to show off your design but I still like the look

magicfan- Thank you Cheesy. I kinda like the layered look too. Might keep me extra warm :p

infructescence- The blue one is veryyy soft, I thought I wouldn't get on with crocheting it but it was fine. I still have loads of this cotton left, I might do matching gloves or something.
