I claim mimiw for a wisty/etsy suprise or two
This is my third claim, 2 sent, 0 recieved
Hi I’m Katy and I live with my husband in the UK. We are both rather geeky though I’m a nature/animal lover as well. I’m a full time student studying for a BA in Creative Writing. I love greens, blues and purples, anything tree themed and animals of all kinds. I’m into games such as Final Fantasy, World of Warcraft, Professor Layton, the new Mario Wii game and all the old point and click classics. I’m not a big fan of really heavy scents as they give me a headache and I’m allergic to peanuts.
Crafts.
A Wisty surprise
http://www.wists.com/KatyMai
Decorated t-shirts with something geeky ( you know something like ‘There´s no place like 127.0.0.1’ written on it) or Mario based for my hubby. He’s XXL in British sizes and would prefer a black base colour.
World of Warcraft themes items, anything from an amigurmai voidwalker to a hearthstone bracelet. Me and hubby both play, im a warlock hes a druid, and we love the game so much we want to bring aspects of it into our house.
Anything final fantasy based, seriously anything, we are both in love with them especially FFX and FFVII.
Tree based wall art, I love the new house we have moved into but oh my gosh the walls are bare. Check out my wist for some ideas.
A messenger bag for me to use for college, preferably in a gothic or hippy style.
A small embroidered pouch for me to keep my rune set in. Preferably with a Nordic/gothic/wiccan theme, Yggdrasil for example would be great.
I really really need a new wallet. No coin pocket, just room for notes and cards would be perfect. For ideas on fabrics I like greens and blues and purples.
My tea towels have holes in them so I’d love some new ones to go in our new kitchen. Preferably with a geeky/Mario/WoW theme or a nature theme.
Thanks to moving house we now have a dining room table but no settings for it, some place mats and matching coasters would be great!
Handmade lined or unlined journal.
A small shrine based around trees and gemstones.
A pottery spoon rest.
A DSi case in a naturey or Mario theme.
A decorated votive candle holder in a tree theme, don’t mind if it’s etched or painted or what but it needs to be able to have a candle lit in it so maybe not papercraft!
A mousemat for hubby, something programming related, geeky, wow or final fantasy related.
Candles in christmassy, cinnamon, or 'red' smell.
Hearthstone pillows like these here
http://www.wists.com/KatyMai/c0252a635a7f3b46e0bd2f0cbec4d142?offset=0
Lavender bunny in any colour/s but green and purple -
http://www.rheatheylia.com/index.php?page=patterns&id=3
Earth spirits like these ones -
https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=317094.0
Crotcheted amigurami style bones for a dog to play with.
A decorated calendar for my wall.
Edgar Alan Poe themed fridge magnets.
Small see-through (cant remember the name of the material, organza??) bags for me to send my jewellery off in when it sells.
Supplies. Im fine with all supply packages!
Wooden embroidery hoops of all sizes.
A new pair of round nosed pliers, mine broke
FQ’s any pattern I just love fabric.
Any yarn, handmade or shop bought.
Glass or gemstone beads.
Buttons, in blues and purples.
Fake fur, any sizes including scraps.
Any jewellery findings, I can always use more especially interesting clasps.
Nice chains for jewellery making.
Key fob hardware.
Tiny little cork topped glass vials.
Thankyou in advance for claiming me

I claim KatyMai for a pottery spoon rest, round nose pliers and some supplies!
1st claim /0 sent /0 received
Hiya, I'm Molly! I live in Oklahoma with my hubby (April will be our one year!) in an old 1920's home. We have one fluffy kitty (Arthur), are non-smoking and have no other allergens in our home. I am an office manager by day Mon-Friday (craftster helps me de-stress!!), and an ADD avid crafter the rest of the time. In recent years I love sewing, but also jewelry making, soapmaking, screenprinting (hope to do more in the future) and working with stoneware clay at times.
Likes/dislikes
My wists and etsy faves are a good indicator of my tastes, everything on there makes me happy just to look at it! I love color, designs and texture. My favorite colors are vivid aqua, turquoise and blue greens, grass, sage and the inside of an avocado green. Also daffodil yellow, Riley Blake Summer Song pinks and melons. I really love the combo of citrus colors together, and pictures of Greece with the blue-green ocean, bright white buildings and cobalt blue roofs.
I like nature (owls, birds, trees, water lilies, lotus blossoms), dots, cupcake/sweet themes, Hello Kitty and sweet vintage flower designs. I also really like Victorian, French and Art Nouveau themes.
I do NOT like skulls, 80's, dark/morbid themes, super cutesy/granny crafts, animal prints, strong scents (headaches)
I like black, white and brown as neutral/accent colors, and when it comes to metals silver or antiqued brass/copper, but please no gold. I am allergic to nickel, so sterling silver, silver plated, surgical steel and nickel free metals are best when it comes to earrings-- everything else doesn't matter on the metal.
We are low carb, so please no sugary sweets to tempt me!
Crafted
~Ironing board cover in a fun fabric, standard size-- I don't need padding
~Fabric tags that say The Chartreuse Lily for me to sew into items that I make
~Yoga pants or skirt, size Medium
~Yoga mat carrying bag
~Handcrafted/stamped cards in any of the themes I like, with or w/o envelopes
~Needlebook of any kind, but I love this one!
http://www.wists.com/guacaMolly/ca083804edee5d6d013e9765beb96c31
~Huge buttons Especially wooden like these-
http://www.etsy.com/listing/67020465/gorgeous-mulberry-tree-branch-buttons
~Fitted shirt or tunic in a nature theme, womens size M-L (Pm me for measurements). There are lots of examples on my wists. I would also love a swallow or bird on an upper shoulder, as though it had just swooped over it. I really prefer a girly looking top/tunic over one that looks like a T-shirt, since I would like to wear it on my casual day at the office, and regular T-shirts are too casual.
~A coupon organizer-- mine was cheapy cardboard, and it is falling apart!
~Jewelry stand/organizer for my bedroom. I love the trees like on my wists, but I think they would be difficult to make and expensive to ship! I would be thrilled with anything that would be functional for this, our bedroom is chocolate brown and a very light blue. I mostly wear earrings.
~Hair combs-- metal or any design that you think I would like. I get headaches really easily, and I want to try these to help me hold my thick wavy hair back, away from my face!
~Placemats/table centerpiece (for a small table, 10-11" inches circumference)/napkin rings. Newly married we are definitely still in the acquisition phase, my hubby really likes to decorate for the holidays. Anything springy/Easter, St. Patty's Day, summery/4th of July or year 'round/seasonal in general. We have fall and Christmas covered.
~Wallet with room for lots of cards, cash, coins and a checkbook! In fabric from my wists/etsy, or I would be happy to send fabric.
Mine that I love that is looking pretty ragged is kind of like this (don't like this fabric)
http://www.etsy.com/listing/65754996/red-black-and-retro-checkbook-wallet
Supplies
I would love vintage/secondhand items, and I would be thrilled with an all supplies package.
~Fabric- Any designer prints, or cute fabric you think I'd like. Really cute designer, I would even be thrilled with scraps for patchwork! Anything else from a fat quarter on up please. Most wanted: anything from or similar to my wist or etsy favorites. Also cotton 'boy' prints; cars, monsters, something to make boy lunch bags, travel art packs, etc. from.
-Solids: I would love solid canvas, duck cloth, home decor weight, kona cotton or linen in any color.
~Sewing books with or without patterns; preferably classic and not dated, or modern like One Yard Wonders or The Bag Making Bible, but I could really use an old school techniques book, too.
~Organza bags in any color
~Dover clip art book, especially with CD included. Please PM me to make sure I don't already have it.
~Sewing patterns for bags, purses, slippers, thread catcher.
~Buttons-- love them, all sizes, shapes and colors, need my collection to grow!
~100% wool felt
~Resin instruction- I got a lot of molds for Christmas, any tips/tricks/tools of the trade would be greatly appreciated! I'm really interested in resin work like this etsy seller does:
http://www.etsy.com/shop/UnderGlass?ga_search_query=underglass&ga_search_type=seller_usernames
~Medium to heavy weight iron on interfacing
~Walking foot for Janome Sewist sewing machine
~Hardware for bags/wristlets: Especially magnetic closures-- standard or hidden. Also keychains, lobster claws, D-rings, purse forms etc.
~Sari silk; ribbon or yarn form
~Jewelry supplies: Ring blanks, bracelet blanks, bobby pins, Toggle closures for bracelets/necklaces, lengths of chain, crimp closures like for using silk ribbon for a pendant, pendant trays, ring bezels with trays, jump rings, wire in any gauge, earring findings-- on these, preferably silver plated or sterling, but oxidized/antiqued that is nickel free is welcome.
~Modge podge
~Diamond glaze
~Emery sand for pincushions
~Leather pieces-- any kind, I'd like to experiment with using it for the soles of slippers
Extras:
Any kind of tea, gum, sewing/crafting magazines you are through with

Hello, My name is Monica. I live in North Carolina at the beach. I am a happy go lucky girl not to uptight and just love to have fun and enjoy crafts and homemade gifts are wonderful. I have cancer I have to keep saying it as I just know I will kick the shit out of it and win..I am raising my 2 grandkids. It is hard to really do it again but I love being with them and know they are doing great and happy well adjusted kids. I have 2 dogs now as my Buster passed away on the 14th Cry My heart broke that day. I claim babalina58 for an autumn button tree similar to the one on her wist
2/1/0
My name is Teresa. I live in Ga. with my wonderful hubby of 30 years and our two grown daughters ( who have both returned to the nest to finish their educations). I have a grown stepson and am Mimi to a 13 year old boy and 7 year old girl. We share our little homestead with a pet cow, mini donkey ( he's something of a cute bully), three pygmy goats, and six cats.
I use swaps to collect OOAK gifts for my friends and family so my wist reflects quite a variety of tastes. Please read tags/notes carefully if you choose something wisty for color preferences, sizes, etc. I am completely okay with you taking something from my wist and making it in your favorite medium rather than the one pictured. I can't tolerate the smell of smoke or lavender.
Crafts:
Enormous Wish
Clothing for an 18" doll like the American Girl dolls. There are examples on my wist, but I would be thrilled with anything you chose to make. Accessories like hats and purses would be welcome too.
Huge Wish
A book safe made from one of the classics ( maybe a damaged one or one of those really cheap ones you can get now)
handmade thank you cards in any of these themes: bees, bugs, crayons, cute cats, cute mushrooms
colorful polka dots and/or stripes
bee themed hanging plastic bag holder (prefer pretty/realistic print to cute)
cat crinkle sack covered in one of these themes: skulls ( sugar skulls or real looking ones), sushi, pirates, Arsenal soccer, or just black and white
Anything Arsenal themed... really, anything!
yoga pants in women's size 2. Any color, any style
beaded tree sculpture ( not jewelry) in amber/orange/brown (small, even tiny is fine)
cat tent that looks "piratey"
BIG WISH black scoodie in fleece with hood part lined in something silky so my hair won't get crazy. I would want silky inside black as well
sz. 2 blue and white polka dot swirly skirt ( for a 5' tall woman) ( simple is great, doesn't need to be super swirly, just have a bit of swish in it)
sz. 51/2 mukluks with fake leather soles ( looking for that speed knitter again)
Big Wish
a set of fabric coasters in cranberry, dark green, and possibly cream ( simple is best)
An altered journal in a world geography theme. I know almost nothing on the subject and feel that it's time to do something about that. I intend to teach myself and since its such an extensive subject, it would need to be a kind of large journal/notebook.
supplies:
Thread Heaven
silk embroidery floss ( I realize this is expensive so a teeny little package would be great!)
one of those needlework magnifiers that hang around the neck ( used is great)
wood-look plastic embroidery hoops, especially ovals
wool felt ( scraps are fine, its for a penny rug) (I really want wool felt, not felted wool.. does that make sense?)
any Japanese craft book ( except crochet)
bias tape makers
Enormous Wish any knitting or weaving loom ( any size, made of anything) ( I now have the small oval knifty knitter that makes socks so any others)
sublime stitching transfers for hand embroidery ( monkey love, zombies, or vital organs) ( It's okay if you've used a couple of the patterns and just send me what you didn't use from the package)
transfer pens
all purpose thread ( new please) (no black, white, blue, green or pink)
buttons in greens and fall colors only
extras:
vintage children's books
Bunny Suicide anything
cat toys/treats
gluten free treats ( people treats, not cat Smiley)
Thank you so much for claiming me!

I claim gamemom42 for some American Girl doll clothes!
First claim this round!
1st claim/0 outstanding/0 sent /0 received
My name is Karen and I live in Austin, TX with my teenaged dd (who typically ends up with most of my swap items ), a huge, goofy lab-mix and a lovely, prissy cat.
I love designs from the 60's and early 70s (think mod & flower power). Also 50's post-modern. I used to have a 1974 VW Thing and I miss it a lot! I also love Asian designs in fabric and artwork.
I prefer clean lines and bold graphics rather than cutesy or fussy prints.
I was born in the year of the Dragon and I just love them! And English Bulldogs (cute, not fierce). I love anything magical/wonderous including fairies and Alice in Wonderland.
Also, pretty much any Amy Butler fabric.
Other random things I love: silver jewelry, reading, travel, art, geekery, the periodic table, Scooby-Doo, GLEE!, nature, trees, dandelions, rain, cooking, whimsy. For more info check my wist .
I would love anything from my wist :
www.wists.com/luckdragon
but especially the things below. In general, I prefer practical things that can be used (with the exception of small wall art or hoops for
my hoopla wall). My favorite colors are bolder/earthy tones to 60’s mod. Blues/greens/tangerine/black/white/deep red (again, examples in my wist). Please no neon colors or pastels.
REALLY would love anything in highlighted below in PURPLE

6/0/5
CLAIM/ENROUTE-sent/RECEIVED
Hi, I'm Roxanne! My daughter Lana is now in first grade and is loving it. She is our pride and joy. Lana has grown up on Craftster love and has received so many wonderful and thoughtfully made presents her whole life. So THANK YOU to all of you!! I have a hubby who helps me craft when he can. He’s the one who runs off to the craft store to buy a craft supply I missed or off to the PO to mail my packages. I'm originally from Hawaii, so even though I live in Maryland now I'm a local girl at heart! I've dabbled in lots of different crafts. My true love is pottery, but I haven't done that in quite a while now. I am starting to do paper crafts, but I’ll always be true to my beading!

Re: Ongoing Wish Swap 67 NOW OPEN FOR CLAIMS

I claim atsuko for a jemima trees painting
This is my 4th claim, 2 received, 1 in progress
About Me: I'm 31 (gulp) and living in NJ (double gulp). I'm currently working as a nanny, baking up a storm, and reading lots of books. Oh yeah, and I’m totally, finally, oh-my-goodness pregnant. Due in March! No more fighting off the baby fever! I love chocolate, the ocean and the beach, books, live music, thrifting, vintage, shiny things, and soft things. I love tights and knee socks, I collect recipe cards, old handkerchiefs, tea cups, ephemera, vintage scarves, cookbooks, old books, and aprons. There is a lot more info in my blog (see the link in my signature!) I love many styles,
but nothing country or overly cutesy.
Please check out my wist for ideas of styles and fabrics that I like.
And an update:
It’s a boy!
And he's gearing up to be a monster. 6 lbs. 11 oz. at my 34 week scan, so I won't be needing those newborn clothes
Wishes:
Crafted stuff:
For Baby:
- Cloth diapers, fitted pocket style, snap or Velcro close, with or without inserts to fit (there are lots of patterns and tutorials here on craftster!) Your preloved, but clean ones are ok, too!
- A boy baby activity blanket/quilt with fun fabric like Michael Miller, Stuff you see on Spoonflower, Freshcut, etc. No need for real designer labels, it’s just an idea of styles I like. Something with bits he can play with or pull on, but not pull off!
- A baby blanket like this one (smaller is ok!) but in boy or unisex shades/prints:
http://www.dana-made-it.com/2010/11/lucys-baby-blanket.html
- 6 mos. or larger Boy baby clothes or baby safe (ie, they can be machine washed and chewed on!) toys (like cloth cubes or puzzle balls) I don't need any more booties or hats
- Baby games like this one:
http://www.etsy.com/listing/67250071/rainbow-fish-frolic
or any of the toys in that shop really!
Thanks so much 1watermonkey!
- Screen printed/stenciled Onesies (6 mos or larger) inspired by any in this shop
http://www.etsy.com/shop/katyandzucchini?ref=seller_info&show_panel=true
- Baby kimonos like these for 8lbs. or bigger:
http://www.dana-made-it.com/2011/02/baby-kimonos-burp-cloths-and-giving.html
- BIG WISH: A large hanging wet bag for the nursery in shades of brown and cream (some light blue is cool, too!)
http://www.kellyscloset.com/Planet-Wise-Hanging-WetDry-Bag_p_3566.html
- BIG WISH: A ring sling:
http://www.etsy.com/listing/53926002/prestige-ring-sling-baby-carrier
- A scrabble tile square pillow with the letter J on it
- Absorbent burp cloths and bibs in fun unisex or boy prints (feel free to repurpose terry cloth, use minky fabric, whatever!) I have some on my wist for ideas
-
HUGE WISH
: A baby hammock or pea pod for his newborn photos in a pale green super soft chunky yarn. Feel free to PM me for ideas/questions. (check out this amazing photo gallery! The cuteness will slay you, and the knits are amazing!
http://www.heidihope.com/index2.php
)
Not for Baby
- Rubber stamps for my new etsy shop to incorporate the name/design somehow. PM me if you can do this, I'd be super excited!
-Altered tees like the following, but to fit a big belly:
http://nikkishell.typepad.com/.a/6a00d8341bfaf553ef0133efaa6dc7970b-pi
or
https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=106867.msg1016302#msg1016302
or this:http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=10284568 or
http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/t_shirt_recon
(I have tons more on my wist for inspiration!)
- Nursing tops (small/medium)
Supplies:
- A4 and A6 flat cards, fold cards, envelopes in any colors for my Gocco. Any color or brand works! Smooth paper preferred over textured. It takes a print better! Here’s a size reference:
http://www.paper-source.com/cgi-bin/paper/envelopes/A6.html
- Anybody have an old Gocco they don't use? I'll take your supplies off your hands
- Solid Color Felt. Larger pieces (like what you buy by the yard) are great, but I can still use the poly squares you find at most craft stores.
- Michael Moore, Amy Butler, Anna Maria Horner, or Freshcut fabric, even your scraps are fine! Also any other pretty printed fabrics in these styles, but not necessarily designer.
- Got one of these rulers lying around?
http://store.scrapbook.com/ch-th92481.html
I need one!
- ink pads –pigment ink, archival and acid free, but I’m super partial to Tsukineko and Tim Holtz (I have lots of metallics, purple, pink, brick, black already)
- Unusual rubber stamps in zetti, victorian, retro, steampunk or background patterns (I'd love a large bird cage or harlequin print)
- Rubber stamp carving tools/supplies (not eraser type)
- any issues of Crap Hound! Even photocopies of your issues work for me!
http://www.boingboing.net/2005/07/24/crap-hound-seminal-c.html
- Vintage ephemera, old sewing patterns, old paper doilies and hankies, old lace, text pages from old books, old foreign language text (think crumbly old, not 80's old
)
Extras:
- I'd love items inspired by anything I've wisted, but please PM me in case it's something I'm making! I also have an Amazon wishlist here:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/registry/wishlist/38KGTSPJ8DPOU
and many etsy faves here:
http://www.etsy.com/people/jojobeandesigns
Or feel free to check my blog for ideas!
- Really Spicy Hot Sauce from your area for the hubs. He likes the ones that obliterate taste buds for days.
- Anyone have any Snappies? I have no idea how to afix cloth diapers that don't have snaps and I don't want to use pins.
Thank you in advance for choosing me!
