I'm going to claim KatyMai for a Rune set.

1st claim this round / 0 in transit / 0 received

About Me
33 year old woman who lives in Florida (USA) with my guy and two cats.
  • My favorite colors are jewel tones (like amethyst purple, emerald green, ruby red, sapphire blue, turquoise, and amber) or earth tones (like greens/browns together).
  • My favorite color combination is a deep teal blue and chocolate brown together. It makes me happy.
  • My favorite colors for shirts/clothes are browns, greens, purples, and both heather and charcoal greys.
  • I also love things that go along with my "PhoenixFire" theme like reds/oranges/yellows together
  • I like silver but not really gold. (Copper's ok too.)
  • My favorite animals are cats, owls, penguins, bats and red foxes.
  • My favorite flower is the Daffodil.
  • My favorite movie is Back to the Future
  • My favorite hobbies include: reading, photography and I love all things Disney!

I suffer from migraines so please NOTHING musk/amber/patchouli/dragon's blood or floral scented. Unless it smells like you can eat it, it will give me a migraine. I LOVE fruit and dessert scents greatly though. Also, please no bar soaps (skin is sensitive to glycerin) and nothing with artificial sweeteners like NutraSweet (aspartame) or Splenda (sucralose) as I'm allergic to both.

Crafty Wishes

 Grin = BIG WISH!

NEW -- Grin Grin Nook cover! I like this style a lot. (Also, like the one by mimiw! I got a regular Nook (NOT nook color) for Christmas and I'd like some cases! I put some fabric examples and such here and some here for fabric inspiration ideas.

-- Grin  A Lapboard I really need a new one. Something comfy so I can use my heavy laptop on the couch more comfortably. I like this one a lot but it wouldn't have to be that exact color/fabric. Just the style is really useful.

-- A Day Tote/Weekender Bag. There's not a thing I don't love about this one for example, but it could be in different fabrics of similar colors for example. It looks sturdy and says it has pockets and the shape is really lovely. I also really like this one which would be a lovely weekender bag since I don't own any luggage. And of course, Amy Butler's pattern is neat but it wouldn't have to be in her fabric.

-- A simple robe. I really like this style. Doesn't have to be exactly like that but I like the Japanese/Asian/Cherry Blossom influence, but it could be other colors/patterns that I like as well. Doesn't need to be form-fitting, can be a little roomy just not too oversized. (A little roomy is fine.) I'm generally a US size 4.

-- Any sewn wist item You can see all the sewing items I've wisted here.

Knitting & Crochet
NEW -- Cable Knit Fingerless Gloves. I love the color, the cable (I love cable!!) and the fact they're a soft acrylic for easy care. Yes please!! (Please note, I have tiny wrists - like 5.5" - so aim for small width please!)

-- Hand knit socks. Something warm and soft I've got small feet so like a 6.5 size foot or girl's sized large socks for reference. There are some wisted here for inspiration. (And yes, thick ones for around the house are perfect too!)

-- A cable knit bag. I really like cable knit and I think this bag is really cool.

-- Any knitted wist items. You can see all the wisted knit items here.

NEW  Grin Grin -- Chibi Marty or Doc BttF Plush. Probably bigger than a medium, but I want to list it anyway. Craftster Noxika makes these awesome plush (like this and this) and I would LOVE LOVE LOVE one made of Marty McFly or Doc Brown from Back to the Future. Can't you just imagine how awesome a Marty with his orange "life vest" jacket or Doc with his wild hair in this style plush would be??

--  Grin Batik/Dyed / "Shibori-Dyed" Fitted Tee Shirts Like above, short sleeve, 3/4 or long sleeve is fine so long as it's fitted. I like styles like THESE in my wists. I especially love the flame style one but really like this type of look a lot. It''s different from the shirts I typically wear and I like that. (Please just no hippie/Grateful Dead rainbow style tie dye. Nothing against hippies but it's just not my personal preference.)

--  Fitted Style Decorated T-Shirts. Short sleeve, 3/4 length or long sleeve. Fitted (not the "unisex" ones that are boxy) in V-neck, scoop or whatever (just nothing that's so low cut it requires another shirt underneath) in size small or US 4 equivalent. (I like the ones from Target a lot but am open to others too!) I have received a ton and I love them but I also live in fitted tees and more are always welcome. I have a bunch of styles I love WISTED for inspiration.

--  Stained Glass Item - sun catcher, nightlight, glass mosaic item, etc. Anything! I just love stained glass and wouldn't even know where to begin making it myself. I have a wall of sliding glass doors and would love to put up something pretty there! (HERE are some I've wisted for inspiration/ideas.)

--  Ceramic/pottery tea mug, oversized mug, or cereal bowl (I eat cereal every single day!) or anything like that. Again, a skill I don't have but really love. (HERE are a couple things I've wisted for inspiration.)

--  Anything with a phoenix. I LOVE the phoenix and there's not nearly enough phoenix-related things in the world or my life. You can check out my wisted phoenix items as inspiration.

-- Surprise me! Look at my wists or my amazon wishlist, my etsy favorites, the colors I like, my favorite animals, or my favorite flower, etc. and see what you can make that you think I'd like! I KEEP MY WISTS UPDATED SO IF IT'S ON THE LIST, I WANT IT! Cheesy

Craft Supplies
--  Grin Grin Jewelry Presentation Displays I have one in black but I desperately need a necklace one in WHITE for photographing my work. I could also use a necklace/earring combo and a bracelet hand. Used ones in good shape are fine too! Any kind of leather/leatherette/vinyl is awesome. These are examples of styles I like and could REALLY use:
 - Simple Necklace: Display, necklace, leatherette, white, 10x8 inches
 - Fancier Necklace/Earrings: Display, necklace/earring, frosted acrylic
 - Another Fancier Necklace/Earrings: Display, Venus figure, opaque white, 12 x 8-1/2 x 2-1/2 inches
 - Ring/Bracelet Display, acrylic, clear frosted, 7-1/4 x 4-1/2 x 3 inch hand

-- Grin Grin Gemstone Beads I'd love to use more faceted, briolette and other cut stones. Here are some I really am coveting.
(Listings shown are just for example of the stone. Can easily be smaller quantities for more reasonable cost!)
 - Any gems on my Etsy favorites - Bunches listed here
-Chrome Diopside Beads - Especially teardrops or briolettes or rondelles would be nice. Example
 - Mexican Fire Opal Rondelle Beads - example or example
 - Hesonite Garnet - example
 - Sapphire Rondelle Beads - In a red/orange/yellow combo. example or example

-- A sewing basket. You know, classic little box with a handle to store my growing collection of threads, notions, scissors, etc. Like this idea/ or this one. Doesn't have to be that fabric or anything but that idea. Right now, all my stuff is just piled up in a mess on my desk.

-- Mini Cake Pans. How cute are these? I don't know that I *need* them per se, but they're just so darn fun.

-- Lampwork beads. Love. Wish I could make but I''m too scared of open flame. Cheesy

-- Dichroic Glass Beads I love this mix for example. So pretty!

-- Beading supplies. I create jewelry so I'm always looking for unique and interesting pendants, charms, gemstone beads, large focal beads and such. Also, I love Swarovski crystal and any 16, 22 or 24 gauge wire is in any color is always useful. (Especially if it's silver-plated!) The Artistic Wire brand is my favorite.

NEW -- Ninja Men Cookie Cutters. OMG, how freakin' awesome are these???

NEW --  Grin Puffy Heart Pendant Instructions/Kit I've wanted to learn how to make this forever! Bonus would be if I had some of the materials needed as well like the stringing material. There's a full kit HERE and another HERE which is totally helpful and even more awesome!!

NEW -- Button Maker I think it'd be fun to make my own buttons. Some sort of starter kit would be great. I've never made any before. Can totally be used/pre-owned!

-- Tea! Especially fruity ones. (Caffeinated ones are fine too for my morning cup at work!)
-- Chocolate! (white, milk or dark) No coconut please.
-- Candies! (whatever neat little treats you enjoy, send 'em my way. I love candy)
-- Pineapple anything so long as it does NOT have coconut in it. (Candy, snacks, candles, body spray, etc.) Finding pure, straight pineapple is so hard!
 -- Beading/Wire-Wrapping/Jewelry magazines (esp ones with projects/tutorials)

Thanks in advance to whomever picks me! Grin

I claim Dawl for a machine apron. Smiley

1/0/0     first claim EVER.

Hi! My name is Trish and I live on the coast in New Haven, Connecticut (UNITED STATES) with my wonderful husband and our two silly dogs, (pitbull rescues.) I am about to turn 31, how did that happen?! I feel much younger. I am originally from Texas and don't think I will ever get used to winter. I am also in school to be an Art teacher. Sewing and embroidery are currently my most loved crafts but I also knit, crochet and paint. (And dabble in all kinds of other stuff.)

My favorite color is kelly green, especially paired with browns, khakis and blues. I am not really a fan of bright primary colors paired together, much more into neutrals. I LOVE the look of natural linen. Themes I like:

forest animals/foxes
fantasy (dragons especially) My favorite book(s) is A Song of Ice and Fire.
classic video games, (Zelda, Gradius, Super Mario Bros are the faves)
Sideshow Freaks
dia los de muerte/ sugar skulls
I collect Maneki Neko's (Lucky Cats.)
Rollerskating (non derby but not artistic either)
Artsy Imagery of Classic Nintendo, vintage typewriters, classic vespas, vintage cameras, vintage sewing machines.
I think maps are also pretty nifty.

I don't wear jewelry of any kind.
I don't really like floral prints unless they are very modern. (some muted florals for embroidery hoops may be an exception, look at my wists for ideas.)
I am allergic to cigarette/cigar/marijuana smoke
Also allergic to perfumes/flowery scents/patchouli (most essential oils in soaps and stuff are ok)
Nothing religious please
clothing/aprons etc Stencils, Screenprints or Applique only please. No iron ons or puffy paint or any of that stuff that tends to not last very long at all.

BIG WISHES = *** but I will love anything you choose to make/send. Thank you for choosing me!!!!!!

Craft Items

- A Wisty Surprise!
***Embroidery or Cross stitch in hoops based on my themes or tastes in my Wists for my Hoopla wall! Make sure you include a 'signature' of some sort and date on the back
*** Dust cover for my sewing machine, with accessory pockets Brother LS-2125 (see wist for fabric ideas)
***Dust cover for my serger Brother Lock 1034D (see wist for fabric ideas)
-Berkely Illustrations print OR embroidery hoop/art inspired by, I mean inspired, don't copy his art without permission!      http://www.etsy.com/shop/berkleyillustration (His male characters only, for some reason I just like them better!)
-Knit or crocheted socks (I wear US womens 7 in shoes)
-Some fun Address labels (PM me for the info!)
-small pouch with cassette tape embroidered, stenciled, etc on it.
***Something like this spelling out my last name LOTER. Doesn't need to be huge, just want to put it over my doorway in the living room, so maybe at least 5 inches tall? completely covered in maps preferred.  http://www.etsy.com/listing/55275000/ciao-baby
-handmade soap
-Handmade sugar scrub, made with essential oils.
-bath bombs, made with essential oils
***would love some art or embroidery of my two pitbulls (I can send pics!)
***Full apron with a picture of a goose that appears to be preparing to cook something, so with a spatula or rolling pin, wearing an apron, etc. It should also have this caption-- The only recipe I know is seeds! (inspired by the best podcast ever My Brother, My Brother and Me)
-Big Band Theory inspired embroidery hoop art.
-dog poop bag holder to connect to leash (2 please) I use the rolls on bags.
-A rollerskating themed bag to carry my skates and pads in, I prefer messenger style or at least with an adjustable strap that I can wear over my shoulder. A pocket big enough to hold my extra set of wheels would be awesome! (NOT DERBY)
-Texas themed embroidery hoop.
***Arm Warmers something like this- http://bigpavillion.com/resources/arm+warmers+framed.JPG  in colors that I like, not these colors. Basically I like longer arm warmers with thumb holes and not too chunky yarn. I also like stripes.

Something crafted for my husband with one of these themes. He likes all kinds of stuff but use your best judgment. He is more open minded than most towards crafty things but still has a sharp eye towards things that look 'homemade.'

-NES final fantasy imagery (wall art, embroidery, pillow, blanket, etc)
-Something with unicorns like Lisa Frank style, or just totally over the top. Rainbows are a plus. Double rainbows are a double plus!
-His favorite color is hot pink. He is ridiculous by the way.
***Dungeons and Dragons related stuff (He would LOVE some terrain stuff, little trees, foam rocks, flocking, fences, etc scaled to the plastic D&D minis. If you make this stuff you could just make his year. Also stuff like a bag of holding, drawstring bags of different sizes, etc.)
-Classic Vespa stuff
-vegan chocolate
-Krav Maga He teaches it.

Craft Supplies
previously lightly loved supplies more than welcome!

-vintage or just really cool maps.

***Postcard Stamper to make my own postcards. http://www.etsy.com/listing/55710683/antique-floral-post-card-mounted-rubber?ref=sr_list_3&ga_search_query=postcard++rubber+stamp&ga_search_type=handmade&ga_page=&order=&includes

-cotton webbing like this http://www.tallpoppycraft.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=63&products_id=703  all colors appreciated.
***Fusible fleece
-zippers of all sizes, no older/vintage zippers though as I already have enough of those that dont work properly.
***vinyl for my Silhouette SD
***transfer paper for my Silhouette SD
***Heat Transfer stuff for tshirts for my Silhouette SD
-Foreign (non USA) coins, already have enough Canadian coins.
-unloved board game pieces

Extras -

-Very spicy salsa local to your area is awesome (no fruit salsas please)
-vegan baked goodies
-vegan candy/chocolate
-dog toys- tug of war toys, balls, squeekies, plush, they love it all but please don't put too much work into it because they all get destroyed with a surprising quickness, but destroyed with a ton of love! (no treats please, we have some super sensitive tummies here.)
-dog surprises? My dogs are named Amy Doghouse and Conan the Barkbarian
***Sewing magazines, just no Threads as I have the complete collection. Readymade before 2008, or other crafty magazines.

I claim padfoot for a "Hampton the Hamper" Pig and Pirate themed stitch markers Smiley

Hi there!  My name's Kim, I'm 28, and I've been married to my fantastic hubby for 10 years.  We have a french bulldog (Gizmo!) and a pug (Lola).

We're California transplants, living in Austin, TX and loving it! I'm a reader, a maker, and a painter. Trying to become a bit of a do-er and taking Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, and Boxing classes. I do, after all, need to burn off some of the food that I love so much - Indian Buffet here I come!

Likes: My favorite colors are purple, dark teal, turquoise, acid green, brown, charcoal, and occasionally pink when it's mixed into a kind of mod pattern that isn't over the top girly. I'm also a fan of colorful polka dots, tentacled critters, goldfish, and owls Smiley

Dislikes: Disney, teddy bears, lacy frou-frou stuff, grandma prints, cabbage roses, puff paint. Puppies and kittens are awesome when I can play with them, not so much when they're crafted.

~Wisty Goodness.  It's updated, and I love everything...just ignore the obviously store bought goodies
~Anything French Bulldog.  Pugs are popular, so it's easier to find pug things, but not frenchies.
~Fabric Napkins Printed, stamped, stenciled, or not.
~Painted Umbrella like this one: Spotty Umbrella  I'm not terribly attached to the color, but I love the polka dots!  Or maybe tentacles? An Octopus?
~Mythical creature "taxidermy" - From the cute  to creepy
~Bleach stenciled t-shirts or tank tops with animals Owls, birds, goldfish, giraffes, pretty much anything that's not super cutesy. Women's fitted shirts, (Target, or Old Navy type, I know they always have a ton at Goodwill) size small.
~Decorated Recipe Binder that I can add recipes to.
~Pendants/Necklaces Living Moss Pendant,  Painted Wood Pendant,  Stained Glass Pendant
~Embroidered Cuff Bracelet  I like the whole thing, but it could be cool with a pattern like this too!
~Wall art My wist and my DA wishlist probably give you a good idea what I like.   and one more.
~Re-usable lunch bag (Small grocery bag size?)  Use your imagination, but it has to fit a microwave meal and some fruit, lol.
~Animal or Monster Stuffies Sewn, not knit or crocheted.  They're lovely, but I have plenty of amis!
~Cute Needle Book
~Healthy Snacks Home made beef jerky, granola, trail mix, dried fruit, fruit leathers, etc.  Whatever you can make that would ship well!

I will be happy to take used items and project leftovers off your hands!

~Lead Free Solder
~Soldering Iron Rheostat
~Old clock parts (hands, gears, etc.)
~Fun and funky fabrics like a lot of the stuff Spoonflower sells.   If you know of a cheaper place to get similar fabrics, let me know! Fat Quarters, and even decent sized scraps are cool Smiley
~Colorful fat quarters Different from above, I'm talking about the usual ones you find in any craft store.
~Old unwanted comic books that can be chopped into decoupage fodder.
~Precious Metal Clay  Even a little bit to experiment with.
~Ceramic marking pens  I think it bakes on in the oven.
~Throw pillow forms/filler
~My grandma had these little plastic bobbin holders that clipped onto a spool of thread so you could keep the bobbins with the thread they matched.  If anyone has ever seen these or knows where to find them, I'd love you forever!
~Patterns from my wist or any fun amigurumi or plushie patterns (knit, crochet or sewn)
~Cardstock enough to make a lamp. 14+ pieces?
~Copyright free bug and critter photos (as in, you took the photo and don't mind if I make a watercolor painting of it) I'm thinking about starting a new "Critters" series of paintings.
~Origami Paper
~Fabric Transfer Printer Paper
~Printable Fabric
~Rotary Cutter
~Shrinky Dink Sheets
~Pins and needles I'll take any size or type!
~Thread of any color
~Stamp/Lino carving supplies

~One (or more!) of your favorite "lite" recipes  I've been having a blast cooking new healthy tasty foods.  I'd love to make myself a "Craftster Cookbook"
~Hard Candy I'm on a diet, and need to make it last, lol!
~Decaf Tea LOVE peppermint and non-fruity herbals Smiley

I miss him so much but he had almost 16 years and was never abused like our other 2 that we rescued so he has always had a charmed life.

I really hate neon, I don't like country looking, I totally dislike granny looking fabric and OMG the Andy Warhol GAG..don't know why I just cant stand it.

We cant have anything from an indoor smokers home, you must wash hands good if outdoor smokers as it is the sticky tar stuff not really the stinky smoke that my granddaughter can be around.

I love pink and brown but Brown and Blue better, I love the fabrics in my wist even most of the ones on the purses and bags there. I have a massive wists so look and get inspired  Grin I love pin ups and purses, knitted socks and mermaids I am a happy go lucky girl and just want to move my home into a recycled, upcycled, echo friendly place and handmade as much as we can.

I would like to claim redstar13 for a reusable shopping bag and possibly some supplies.

Hello.  I am puzzler and I live in Connecticut, US.  I like simple and useful things.  I love the idea that something was re-purposed or recycled, so if you can be green while crafting something for me- that would be wonderful. Please don't send me anything pink.  I like green/gray/blue colors or black and white combinations.  Any peaceful shades or patterns are OK.  Thank you! Smiley

Things I would love to get:

Writing journal/altered book.  (mixed papers would be great) Perhaps something with writing prompts or ideas?

Fabric bucket (bucket/bag made of fabric for either my yarn or fabric storage, etc)

zippered bag, something around 5x9 inches made from cotton fabric.

wallet  -see different examples on my wist

water bottle bag/holder

How to Kit (quilting, embroidery/needlework, felting, cross stitch, whatever your specialty happens to be).

I would LOVE this kind of slippers: http://wists.com/puzzler/e3fd698d80ecb769570e9eba3c942033?offset=0 or other slippers from my wist.  Size 9-10

Sandwich wrap (something like this, for example: http://www.wists.com/puzzler/2fb140159c5154d0ef456d0d15cc68f9?offset=0  )

Snack baggies  (one or two) (like this, for instance: http://www.wists.com/puzzler/2fb140159c5154d0ef456d0d15cc68f9?offset=0  )

Anything from my wist: http://wists.com/puzzler

Circular needles ANY size!
Cable needles
tapestry needle
stitch markers
quilting tools or supplies
 black inkpads
any natural yarn (wool, cotton) in peaceful colors.

Books or magazines with knitting, crochet or sewing projects. I am more interested in great patterns, than in the how to do these crafts.

Please feel free to ask me any questions.  Thanks for reading and thanks if you want to make me something!   Smiley

I claim puzzler for a How to Cross Stitch kit

This is my second claim, 0 sent, 0 recieved

Hi Im Katy and I live with my husband in the UK. We are both rather geeky though Im a nature/animal lover as well. Im a full time student studying for a BA in Creative Writing. I love greens, blues and purples, anything tree themed and animals of all kinds. Im into games such as Final Fantasy, World of Warcraft, Professor Layton, the new Mario Wii game and all the old point and click classics. Im not a big fan of really heavy scents as they give me a headache and Im allergic to peanuts.

A Wisty surprisehttp://www.wists.com/KatyMai

Decorated t-shirts with something geeky ( you know something like Theres no place like written on it) or Mario based for my hubby. Hes XXL in British sizes and would prefer a black base colour.

Anything final fantasy based, seriously anything, we are both in love with them especially FFX and FFVII.

Tree based wall art, I love the new house we have moved into but oh my gosh the walls are bare. Check out my wist for some ideas.

A messenger bag for me to use for college, preferably in a gothic or hippy style.

A small embroidered pouch for me to keep my rune set in. Preferably with a Nordic/gothic/wiccan theme, Yggdrasil for example would be great.

I really really need a new wallet. No coin pocket, just room for notes and cards would be perfect. For ideas on fabrics I like greens and blues and purples.

My tea towels have holes in them so Id love some new ones to go in our new kitchen. Preferably with a geeky/Mario/WoW theme or a nature theme.

Thanks to moving house we now have a dining room table but no settings for it, some place mats and matching coasters would be great!

Handmade lined or unlined journal.

A small shrine based around trees and gemstones.

A pottery spoon rest.

A DSi case in a naturey or Mario theme.

A decorated votive candle holder in a tree theme, dont mind if its etched or painted or what but it needs to be able to have a candle lit in it so maybe not papercraft!

A charm bracelet decorated with runes.

A mousemat for hubby, something programming related, geeky, wow or final fantasy related.

Candles in christmassy, cinnamon, or 'red' smell.

Hearthstone pillows like these here http://www.wists.com/KatyMai/c0252a635a7f3b46e0bd2f0cbec4d142?offset=0

Lavender bunny in any colour/s but green and purple - http://www.rheatheylia.com/index.php?page=patterns&id=3

Earth spirits like these ones - https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=317094.0

Embroidery hoops of all sizes.

A new pair of round nosed pliers, mine broke  Sad

FQs any pattern I just love fabric.

Any yarn, handmade or shop bought.

Glass or gemstone beads.

Buttons, in blues and purples.

Fake fur, any sizes including scraps.

Any jewellery findings, I can always use more.

Thankyou in advance for claiming me Cheesy
