Hi my name is Chris.  Im 34 and I live in Alaska with my husband, 2 dogs, and cat.  I love the outdoors and spend a lot of time outside hiking, fishing, skiing, kayaking, etc.  I love to bring the outdoors inside with nature themed art and colors.  I love greens, browns, fall colors in reds, orange, dark yellows.  Favorite animals are otters, foxes, and all kinds of birds.  I also like sea crittersnot so much fish but seahorses, jellyfish, squid, crabs, seaweed.  Im not allergic to anything but really hate the smell of cigarette smoke.

I have a pretty extensive wist and do keep it up to date.  Id love anything from it or inspired by something on it.  If you do pick something off my WIST please do read the comments I'll occasionally put something up and then say "Love this style but don't like that color" or some such.

Crafty items

- Dish towels.  I turned a bunch or mine that were looking shabby into rags.  Now I need some cute new ones.  I dont really have a color scheme in the kitchen but like greens, blues, browns or red and blacks.  Embroidered, sewn with cute material, appliquopen to any.  I like cute designs with kitchen themes (appliances, food, herbs, etc.) or any animal or nature theme. Thanks Dawl I can never have too many.

- BIG WISH - An ironing mat (a large one around 30 x 20 would fit my table well but smaller is ok)

- A needlebook/case to hold my needle felting needles.  Im not picky about style.  See my wists or above for themes I might like and surprise me.  PM if you need measurments for felting needles.

- Dog dish mat.  Our new rescue lab is a messy drinker so something to help contain all the water splashes would be great.  Needs to be about 12 wide to fit in the feeding area.  Length is less important maybe around 20.  The dogs are both labs one fox red the other black.

- BIG WISH - Knitting needle case/holder/roll.  Id love something like this  one that has different size pockets, including shorter ones for dpns, and wide pockets for circles, and other supplies. Thanks Claire313

- A knitting project bag/tote.  Just a small to medium sized bag that can hold a skein or two of yard and my needles.

- Soap. I prefer the cold press to melt and pour types.  I like natural scents, most fruit smells (citrus, pear, berry), vanilla, rosemary, lavender, green tea, oatmealjust nothing with too heavy a perfume smell.  Soap in manly scents for my husband is good too.

- Handmade beauty products.  Body butter or lotion, lip balm, sugar scrubs, etc.  Id love just about anything except bath oils, bath bomb, or any bath thing (I rarely take baths). Thanks skaborsk for the sugar scrub.

- Sea creature stuffies or amigurumi.  Would love anything with tentacles, weird or unusual fish (puffer fish, anglerfish, etc), nautilus, crab, sea slugs (nudibrach), seahorses, corals, jellyfish, etc.

- Otter soap dishes
Love these ottersany potters out there who want to make me one of these?

Help me decorate my craft room.  The walls are an apple green.  The furniture is dark brown and white.  Im using these colors with splashes of orange and rusts.  Some pics of the craft room organizers and idea of color schemes  here and here

- Pillowsabove colors and themes.  I have a tan futon in the craft room and need to add some pillows for comfort and to give it some color.  I want a few bolster type pillows for the arms and lots of various sized square and rectangle.  Really Id be happy with any size shape.  I can stuff or buy a form to make it easier for you to ship.

-Crab, sea urchin, or starfish pillows.  I love  these , this , and these   I'd love them in any color but dark orange, brown, or tan would be fantastic.
-  Wall art I would love some art to hang on my walls.  I love lots of the animal and botanical prints on vintageprintable.com site.  Would LOVE, LOVE something using these nudibrach (seaslug)  images or the 1st two images on this page or really any of the Haeckel prints or  jellyfish prints.  A few of these nicely printed and framed would be fantastic.   Thanks cinnamon teal Love the ones you sent.  More of sea creature themed would be great. I like wood block/altered paper type art.  I always like embroidered wall hangings as well.  Or get creative.   There are several examples of things I like on my Wist.

-  Print/stencil t- shirts womens size XL (or XXL if sizes run small) preferred colors: brown and tans, rust, dark orange, greens (lime, apple, sage).  Bird or animal designs, trees, leaves, etc.  Also love geek/science themes such as molecules, cells, etc. See wists for some examples.  I tend to like v- necks better but any style collar is ok.  Have some great ones from puzzler and babalina but can always use more in other colors/designs.  Long-sleeved would be great for this time of year.

-Stencil lounge pants size misses XXL or womens 1Xsame themes as t-shirts above in black, brown, or grays.

- Knit or crochet slippers, nice and thick (wool is great) to keep my toes warm on those cold Alaska days. I like the Mary Jane and ballet styles.  I wear a womans size 8 shoe. Again see Wist for examples of styles I like. Thanks redstar13

- Reusable cloth menstrual pads.  Mostly panty liners like these but also a couple of longer overnight ones.

- Reusable swiffer covers.  Could use regular wet and scrubbing ones as well as dusting ones Thanks redstar13

- Green yarn, especially fun yarn, eyelash yarn, and boulce type.  I have a project in mind that uses yarn to mimic moss.  I could use lots of shades of green and any amount...even small leftovers.
-BIG WISH- Soapmaking supplies or a learn to make soap kit.  Im not really interested in the melt and pourlooking for cold press soap.  This is actually for my husbandhe wants to learn to make soap and I want to encourage him to craft.  We dont have anything so any supplies and/or ingredients at all will be much appreciated (we do have a local source for lye and some very basic oils).
- BIG WISH- Knitting needles Im just learning to knit and only have a few needles so almost any size would be great (so far I have regular size 6 and 8 and dpns in smaller sizes 000-2, 4). I prefer wood or bamboo.  Circular in any size except 9 would be great.
- Felt wool felt or eco felt (please no cheap acrylic felt sheets from the craft store).  I can use all colors.
- Yarn - open to any color and type.  Would love to have some more sock and fingerling weight yarn.  Prefer wool and wool blends or nice acrylic.

List in a moment!!

Hello there !!
Im Tammy.  Im 38 and im a stay at home mom to three boys in Northern California. I moved here from OH and love it!! We just purchased our first home and are thrilled!!  I like to sew, quilt.  I am starting to get into embroidery and can crochet a little bit.  Im very much into girly type stuff and love anything regency -titanic era. I also love 30s-40s things as well.  I am allergic to nickel.
Here are my wishes
Anything off my wist list is great!!

Crafted Items~~

I love this shawl and I am willing to wait longer if anyone will make it for me. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/CivilWarShawlKAL/  Im not picky about color.  Would be just happy to even have one.

I would love some soft wool socks!!  Size 7 feet
Snood in a 40s style (prefer a crochet or knitted tie versus elastic (stays on better)
I have a weird obsession with knitted cuffs!! I love them!!  Chocolate brown, red, white, mustard yellow.

**Civil War Era Cape called a Mathilde Mantilla (Think of a Civil War era Poncho.  This is basically what it is)  Here is a link to the pattern http://www.uvm.edu/%7Ehag/godey/images/s5902170.jpg  and here is an example of what it looks like http://www.thegracefullady.com/civilwargowns/ready-mades_silkmantle.htm Measurements will be provided.  Wool blend or Corduroy would be great. Hood is decorative and is not functional. It only uses around 3 yards.  I would also prefer it lined for warmth. It would be great if I could retain the pattern as well for future projects.  (I can sew I just cant figure out how to make it <frown>) without a pre-drafted pattern.  OR If someone with any drafting skills wouldnt mind drafting a pattern to my size I could play around with it and make my own (If I have a pattern to work with)

Aprons!!  Even though I sew them I would love to see what others come up with!!  I would also like two childrens apron (both are under 12yrs old)  Transformers and Spiderman a plus!! (one claim at a time is fine needless to say  Grin)

My MIL is a bingo fanatic!!!  A bingo bag or a nice seat cushion would be great for a gift.

New purse (same reason as above!!!)  I am in need of a large school bag/tote!!  The strap on mine is starting to come loose.

Primitive Raggedy Ann doll (An example is in my wists)

Handwarmers like the ones offered at Hot Topic.com. Victorian Goth ones would be perfect.

Crazy Quilted Purse.  Or any purse made by you!!  Im needing a new one!! (received a beautiful one from feast your eyes.)  More are welcomed!!!

Victorian caplet.  At least waist length please email for length.

Regency or Victorian era Reticule

Petticoat (cotton or cotton blend please) either knee or ankle length with some fullness to it as I like poufy skirts !! I actually wear these a lot!! (Im 5'5 email for length) (received one from farmgirljane and would love more!!)

Slat bonnet or corded can provide links if needed.  Any pattern should do as they are all basically the same result.

I would love some embroidered handkerchiefs. Monogrammed with my initials would be nice too!!

Victorian slippers.  This pattern is from 1864

Im looking for special kind of apron for my husband.  He cooks the eggs at breakfast time and is a ninjitsu martial artist.  I would love an embroidered apron that has a ninja/martial artist holding a spatula in each hand and says "Egg Master" underneath.  Fabric and colors are open as long as its durable and holds up.

Other Crafts~~~
Bars of handmade soap (the kind that is made from lye).  Lavender, oatmeal, goats milk, citrus are great however any scents are welcome!!  Or soap supplies/kit as I would love to learn how to make my own. Plain Pre-made soap bars that are ready to have scents, colors, herbs ect melted and added in are appreciated too as I have young children and am concerned with having lye in the house. Room sprays, bubble baths (im looking for some really good foamy bubbles!!).

Bath bombs.  Also jars of bath salts would be fantastic as well. Im good for now!! Thanks!!

Im looking for some scented oils.  I would rather these be handmade or from specialty shops and not from stores like joanns or hobbylobby ect.

Hand crafted candles are great too. Prefer either fruit and or spice scented ones or lavender (only floral scented one I like).  Im also interested in the scented candle chunks that you can melt and scent your house with.  I have received some but always appreciate more!!

Whimsey jar are really fun!!

Im loving the moon jars!!  Would love to have one!!

Im looking for a serving tray that I can bring snacks from the kitchen to the living room.  Asian or Victorian influence a real plus.  Ive seen some nice ones made from frames (glass removed)

Im also looking for a picture frame.  about 1.5 inches or more wide/thick on the sides.  What I would like is a thin wooden back fitted to it. I dont need the glass for it.  An old vintage frame would be preferred for this.  Im going to use it as a center piece tray for candles (if you can visualize it will lay flat on the table) I can take a pic of the pic in my book if you would like to see my inspiration.

Shower curtain.  Victorian style please!!

My 18 year old loves Jack Skellington from the Nightmare before Christmas so anything with him on (appropriate for a guy) would be fantastic

Books that teach drawing as well as an art kit of some kind put together would be great.  My 12 year old loves to draw comic books!!

Handcrafted Jewelry with Victorian influence

Victorian/Edwardian style chalk board.   Heres the idea.  Antique frame or mirror with glass/mirror removed (small or medium size if perfect).  Where the glass/mirror was is the area to write in (im not sure what would be used to create the chalkboard slate as I only know of the special paint).  Saw one in Victorian Trading Co.  I love the idea!!

Im looking for a table runner for our new table we recently purchased.  Looking for something, of course Victorian style as well.  Measurements can and will be provided.  Want something rich looking but affordable to make!!  Also looking for new fabric dinner napkins (18").

Sewing items~~ Anything related to sewing is welcome!!  Trims, fabric, thread ect.(Gently used too)
Im also interested in any older sewing supplies as well from antiques stores and such (I have a tracing wheel i bought for $4 so they can be affordable).  Patterns (Burda Mag, Modern, Historic and Historic inspired too)!!  I need envelopes with a size 14 & 16 included in the envelope for dresses and tops and a 16 for skirts.  Thanks!!
Vogue~~ .. .2884...2968...1239 ... 8352...8003,,,v1178,,,v1172

New or Unwanted Issues of Threads ( I have all of 2003 2006-2008 Though I dont have issues 137 or 138, 140  !!!) probably best to check with me on numbers!! and Burda World of Fashion Magazine !! (I have a few ...1/06** 7/03**4/05** 3/08**)  (used is fine) Knipmode, Ottobre, Patrones, La Mode

Magazines (new or used!!)  Gothic Lolita Bible Magazine, Beading and Jewelry making, Knitting and Crochet, Magazines from Somerset Studios.  Here is a link to their site and the magazines they offer http://www.stampington.com/html/main_magazines.html  Im especially looking for Haute Handbags!!!!   As well as cooking mags!!

Purse supplies of all sorts (handles, magnetic snaps, rings ect).  Silver Victorian clasps would be great too (can be found at Hancocks).  I desperately need some magnetic snaps!!

Scrapbooking items  (trims, paper, stickers anything!!).  Im also looking for some things like brads, ribbons, fancy paper, scissors.  Im also looking for corner punchers, rulers for making fancy torn edges and hole punchers (I have a heart one).  Also plain colored or white blank greeting type cards would be wonderful!! Good for now!!

Yarn!! I love yarn!! I would prefer not to receive any 100% acrylic.  However wool, cotton, silky whatever!!  All colors are welcome (well except neon bright bright colors).

Im looking for corset making supplies. boning, 13.5" busk, lacing!!

Sublime Embroidery patterns ~~Gothic, Pinup, Craftopia, Sushi Bar, Dress up

Books  (Amazons great for these.  Used welcomed as well)

Candy from outside the US, Including but not limited to, (NZ~~Minties, Pineapple Lumps and Wittakers) Kit Kats!!  Violet Crumbles!! (Canadian Equivalent is welcomed too though the name escapes me)

My husband collects law enforcement patches.  I would love to get a bunch for him for him.  If you live near a prison, jail or other LE facility perhaps they would let you have one???  He gets his this way by asking and they are usually happy to give him one.  My husband loves Asian things as well as LE related (he is a correctional officer) and anything relating to the park service (Smokey the Bear gets double marks lol!!). He is a fan of Bruce Lee and any DVD (he has VHS) movies or any craft with him inspired would be wonderful!!  Or perhaps a stenciled t-shirt of Bruce Lee.  He would be thrilled to receive something just for him (It also continues him to encourage me to swap.  Ya know totally his idea)

Also I would love to be able to get him a hooded jacket with a nin symbol on it!! Stenciled or embroidered (Will send link to a pic if needed)

Also im looking for bath tub grippers (the ones that prevent slipping) im looking for the kind that stick directly on the tub using tape/sticker.  I cant find any except for the mats

Lego's for my two boys would be wonderful.  They are obsessed!!

Im also looking for a Yellow Freight cap.  Hubby would love one, and has said so for as long as we have been together.  Not sure why but figured I would look for him!!

Pagan Related
Incense charcoal (these can be found in metaphysical or ethnic shops such as those specializing in incense)
Doves Blood ink (Its not really doves blood!!!  Thats just the name for inks used for writing positive chants!!!  There is Dragons Blood too and there are no dragons running around that I know of  Grin)
Parchment paper

Last but not least total complete surprises are welcome!!  If you are good at something and have something you love making.  Go right ahead.  I will say that my tastes are Victorian so if you can incorporate that even more perfect!!

I claim frosty772 for "Handcrafted Jewelry with Victorian influence."

2nd claim / 0 in transit / 0 received

Howdy! The actual name is Karri, but you can call me Zombs (most of my internet cohorts have been doing so since about 1995).  I currently reside in Las Vegas, NV, but am originally from the Dallas, TX area. My SO and I moved out here in 1997 so he could deal poker (legally). We have a 2 year old black & tan dachshund named Rascal and an evil rat named Elwood.

I am allergic to Tide detergent, Poison perfume and apparently rabbits.

There are a lot of things in my wist (http://www.wists.com/vegaszombie) for ideas & wisty surprises always rock! My profile also has too much information.

Crafted item ideas
B-movie monster or psychobilly theme purse. Something small enough to take to the rock show, but big enough to hold a few things.

Bag - I am a bag ummmm collector. I think I have more bags (like tote bags) than I do clothes. See my themes section for, well, themes. Ha!

Hair flowers and various other hair doodads (see themes for various ideas) there are quite a few on my wist

Small altered art shrine or curio cabinet

Handmade bath items just nothing uber flowery, I like more dark scents.

  Oddball stuffies

Table top ironing pad example: http://www.wists.com/vegaszombie/1479ac97c212c5878b7e2995b7c670f9

  Weird sock monkeys example: http://www.wists.com/vegaszombie/a2e284e9631d0b60df56f210d66c39b3?offset=20

Bookcover wallet the cheesier the better; like this https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=167691.0

Amigurumi The only ones I currently own are Hans Solo and Leia (linked in my profile)

  Reusable Swiffer pads

Oddball small mounted taxidermy zombified creatures and cryptozoology a plus

Dish towels I pretend the kitchen is themed, but really it isnt. My current dishtowels are maroon-ish because that somewhat matches the fake cherry cabinets.

Placemats see themes section for inspiration

Demotivator themed ATCs for my desk at work (http://www.despair.com/)

Small wall art pieces, any medium see themes section for inspiration.  Thank you Eveamlizya! More pieces are always welcome.

Dachshunds particularly smooth red and smooth black & tan
  Zombies or zombified things
  Psychobilly / Rockabilly
Coffee I long ago had my blood replaced with it
  B-Movie monsters
New Orleans I am beyond obsessed with the place
Bands Sin City Sinners, Frank Zappa, Horrorpops, Johnny Cash, Reverend Horton Heat, Rob Zombie
Cryptozoology I love Nessy like whoa!
  Dia de los Muertos
  Kilted anything. Mmmmm. Kilts

Craft Supplies
Bits and pieces odd charms, watch pieces, broken jewelry, etc.
Embroidery thread I have a lot, but you can never have too much. Would also like some of the schmancy stuff.
Cross stitch fabric various colors and counts
  Shrinky Dink material All varieties
  DIY Resin Jewelry Kit
  Embroidery hoops
  Interesting beads and findings
  Fabric, trim, notions
Frames any type, any size as long as they are structurally sound
Band T-shirts that you may not need anymore. I turn them into bags and whatnot. Holes in various areas are fine as long as the graphic area is decent.
Shrinky Dink material Id really like to try this out.

Items local to your area preserves, beverages, pet rocks anything
Coffee I have a Keurig machine so any odd K-cups would rock, but I can also do regular ground.
Tea I can do loose leaf, bags and K-cups. Non-herbal preferred.

Always looking for personal swaps!

I claim Dawl for a hoopla & maybe something dolphin-themed.

1st claim, 0 sent, 0 received

I'm KW, and I live in Melbourne! Glorious Melbourne in Australia! GLORIOUS MELBOURNE! City of 4 seasons in one day! 90 humidity yesterday, stinking hot today, thunderstorms and antarctic winds tomorrow!

I'm 31, or something like that, and I do... stuff. I do data entry, I write text books, I provide voice talent, I make spreadsheets, I use the force of Web 2.0 for good, I play rollerderby, I speak 3 languages, I sew, I knit, I embroider, I crochet, I get drunk fairly quickly,

- booty shorts for playing derby in. Something like this in lycra/spandex/something stretchy

- skirts! Short skirts pref, A-line stopping anywhere between mid thigh to just above the knee. This is one I made for myself last year.. damn thing's starting to fall off my hips already.

- tutus. Not necessarily as poofy as this one, but I love it when my skirt is flippy and floofy:

- t-shirts/singlets with wide shoulder straps and my derby name & number on the back. I don't have enough scrimmage tops.

 - Derby Kitbag. This needs to be strong, because it will carry a lot of weight. Straps so I can carry it on my shoulder/across my back. Ventilation a big plus, believe me. It'll need to hold a pair of skates, a helmet, big kneepads, elbow pads, wristguards, mouthguard, and I'd love dedicated spots for skate tools, skate parts, my contact lenses, extra scrimmage tops & water bottle.

 - knee pad covers. Yeah, this is a weird one, but we sometimes skate in venues that don't allow kneepads, so we've got to cover them up. PM me, and I'll go over the specifics.

 - Protective pouches and purses for my things like the iPod, the smartphone, camera, the cords and power adapters I carry around with me every day.

 - Something with the chemical symbols for caffeine, capsaicin, or theobromine on them - jewellery or t-shirts are cool

 - stacks of washcloths and sweat moppers also good!!

 - lunchbags/sandwich wraps. Taniquel made me some earlier this year, and they've just gotten more and more useful over time. See here: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=334735.msg3911875;topicseen#msg3911875

 - spats. There's an example on my Craftster Favourites list in my profile. I want a pair so bad! Or legwarmers like these: http://www.etsy.com/listing/43690084/leg-warmers?ref=cat2_gallery_29

 - bike basket lining. I'd like a lining (either easily washable or waterproof) for the basket on the back of my bike.

 - armwarmers - from wrist to mid bicep length to wear under elbow pads

 - wisty surprise, maybe?

 - wall art. Communist/socialist themed (think Chinese style stuff) (Banga did me some INCREDIBLE stuff in Round 65) or batik themed, but if you choose batik, please PM me for details, as I like specific designs like parang rusak or mega medung.

 - 5" embroidered hoops, with my fave themes OR fave song lyrics.

 - headscarves - crocheted or sewn. Or another Calorimetry (http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEwinter06/PATTcalorimetry.html ) but in a lighter sort of yarn so I can wear it in summer

 - button badges of any of my fave things.

 - waterproof cover for my bike seat.

 - snack bags - ones good for carrying nuts/dried fruits etc or herbal teabags.

 - produce bags, so I don't need to use the plastic ones at the supermarket.

 - I would like a holster or something like that for my sonic screwdriver (Such a sad, sad, pathetic geek...)

 - wide wrist cuffs, kinda punky/industrial aesthetic. I have an awesome one at home made of leather and vinyl, and I'd like more.

- I'd slaughter innocents for this logo: http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/0/05/Ulysses_31_logo.jpg screenprinted onto a tshirt. Size... Hmm... I'm wearing a Threadless Large size if that helps at all. Can provide measurements if you ask. In fact, there's a ton of stuff I'd like screenprinted onto tshirts. I have another logo that a friend designed for me that I'd love to get printed/stencilled on a tee. I'll provide the logo on request.
Also good for printing/stencilling: The logo from Dynasty (the TV show) - black on yellow or something like that

Craft Supplies

Wool for a knitting machine, any colour don't care, just want to try to make something with the machine I've had in my loungeroom for years.

Stuff for carving handmade stamps. Got an idea - want to see if I can make it work.

Handkerchiefs I can embroider on. I'd like to step away from using tissues for mucous mopping duties.

Ear threads like these:http://earthreads.com/images-large/esb501-large.jpg
Although preferably with two bar ends, not a bar end and a dangle.

Lots of thin silver chain.

readycut origami paper for lucky star making, or just normal origami paper - preferably with abstract patterns/designs on them, not pictures of things

Wooden embroidery hoops in a range of sizes

Stuff for bagmaking - magnetic clasps, D Rings, loops, buckles, that sort of thing.

Always looking for more keys popped off from computer keyboards.

This one is sort of a hoping against hope wish, but vintage Lutterloh patterns - like these: http://www.etsy.com/listing/18830803/lutterloh-system-german-pattern-making I bought the system earlier this year, and it's made pattern drafting so nice and simple for me.

Speaking of patterns & such - knitting/sewing patterns for simple summer tops. Only proviso is that they need to look good on someone with smallish bone structure, but massive boobs. (Curse my life, I'm like a 32GG according to my sports bra) So V-shape or wide sort of necklines, straps wide enough to cover up the fabric engineering feat that is my bra, etc etc.

Pieces of foamcore board. Not huge pieces - maybe a couple of 10cm x 10cm squares will be enough for the project I have in mind.

inkpads for stamping

Haberdashery! Especially ZIPS! Interfacing is also good.

Fabric with robots on it. Good robots, not sappy emotional love-hearty cutesy robots.

You want MORE about me?

I like communism/soviet propaganda, I like cosmonauts and taikonauts and outer space. Rockets and robots are cool. But not those sappy bloody robots with emotion. That's a pile of bull.

I like science-fiction (not fantasy). And I like the Doug Anthony Allstars. DAAS Kapital was brilliant - sci-fi and comedy in one brilliant little package. Brilliant also is Firefly and Doctor Who and Blakes 7 and Logan's Run and Rollerball and so much other stuff....

I like Indonesian traditional arts, especially the batik of Java, and the hanacaraka writing script. Traditional colours of Yogyakarta are browns and whites and blacks, traditional colours of Solo include blue. I pretty much ADORE anything Javanese.

I like rollerderby, but I bloody well HATE the Sublime Stitching rollerderby series. It's awful. My team colours are black and gold, if you ask I'll tell you my derby name & number

I like geek and nerd stuff. I'm a humanities girl, but I try to understand science and physics. I am a big big fan of spreadsheets & diagrams. I also am well versed in internet life & memes and the suchlike.

I like animation - Futurama, Ulysses 31, Chobits, GTO: Great Teacher Onizuka and La Linea. I also like manga, but most of the stuff that people rave about... I don't know it. I like Kimi wa Petto best of anything I've read in the last few years.

I like music, but I prefer Australian artists, or people I've heard during my travels. I like Leonard Cohen, Nick Cave, Grinderman, Tex Perkins, Cruel Sea, Kate Miller-Heidke, Angie Hart, Luciano Ligabue, Le Vibrazioni, SamSons, Project Pop, Spandau Ballet, Paul McDermott

I like language and swearing and creativity with words and multilingualism and non-Latin writing scripts.

I am the proud owner of a new kitten. His name is Gillespie and he is just bloody adorable.

I hate the following: Harry Potter, Twilight, cupcakes, skulls, holiday-themed stuff, stuff that has images of real people recreated on it, kawaii stuff, cutesy stuff, country themes, harvest themes, Halloween, dogs, cars, non-Australian spelling, cold weather, nature/forest themes, owls, mushrooms, zombies,
