I'm going to claim Maurer for a wisty surprise!

2nd claim this round / 0 in transit / 0 received

About Me
33 year old woman who lives in Florida (USA) with my guy and two cats.
  • My favorite colors are jewel tones (like amethyst purple, emerald green, ruby red, sapphire blue, turquoise, and amber) or earth tones (like greens/browns together).
  • My favorite color combination is a deep teal blue and chocolate brown together. It makes me happy.
  • My favorite colors for shirts/clothes are browns, greens, purples, and both heather and charcoal greys.
  • I also love things that go along with my "PhoenixFire" theme like reds/oranges/yellows together
  • I like silver but not really gold. (Copper's ok too.)
  • My favorite animals are cats, owls, penguins, bats and red foxes.
  • My favorite flower is the Daffodil.
  • My favorite movie is Back to the Future
  • My favorite hobbies include: reading, photography and I love all things Disney!

I suffer from migraines so please NOTHING musk/amber/patchouli/dragon's blood or floral scented. Unless it smells like you can eat it, it will give me a migraine. I LOVE fruit and dessert scents greatly though. Also, please no bar soaps (skin is sensitive to glycerin) and nothing with artificial sweeteners like NutraSweet (aspartame) or Splenda (sucralose) as I'm allergic to both.

Crafty Wishes

 Grin = BIG WISH!

NEW -- Grin Grin Nook cover! I like this style a lot. (Also, like the one by mimiw! I got a regular Nook (NOT nook color) for Christmas and I'd like some cases! I put some fabric examples and such here and some here for fabric inspiration ideas.

-- Grin  A Lapboard I really need a new one. Something comfy so I can use my heavy laptop on the couch more comfortably. I like this one a lot but it wouldn't have to be that exact color/fabric. Just the style is really useful.

-- A Day Tote/Weekender Bag. There's not a thing I don't love about this one for example, but it could be in different fabrics of similar colors for example. It looks sturdy and says it has pockets and the shape is really lovely. I also really like this one which would be a lovely weekender bag since I don't own any luggage. And of course, Amy Butler's pattern is neat but it wouldn't have to be in her fabric.

-- A simple robe. I really like this style. Doesn't have to be exactly like that but I like the Japanese/Asian/Cherry Blossom influence, but it could be other colors/patterns that I like as well. Doesn't need to be form-fitting, can be a little roomy just not too oversized. (A little roomy is fine.) I'm generally a US size 4.

-- Any sewn wist item You can see all the sewing items I've wisted here.

Knitting & Crochet
NEW -- Cable Knit Fingerless Gloves. I love the color, the cable (I love cable!!) and the fact they're a soft acrylic for easy care. Yes please!! (Please note, I have tiny wrists - like 5.5" - so aim for small width please!)

-- Hand knit socks. Something warm and soft I've got small feet so like a 6.5 size foot or girl's sized large socks for reference. There are some wisted here for inspiration. (And yes, thick ones for around the house are perfect too!)

-- A cable knit bag. I really like cable knit and I think this bag is really cool.

-- Any knitted wist items. You can see all the wisted knit items here.

NEW  Grin Grin -- Chibi Marty or Doc BttF Plush. Probably bigger than a medium, but I want to list it anyway. Craftster Noxika makes these awesome plush (like this and this) and I would LOVE LOVE LOVE one made of Marty McFly or Doc Brown from Back to the Future. Can't you just imagine how awesome a Marty with his orange "life vest" jacket or Doc with his wild hair in this style plush would be??

--  Grin Batik/Dyed / "Shibori-Dyed" Fitted Tee Shirts Like above, short sleeve, 3/4 or long sleeve is fine so long as it's fitted. I like styles like THESE in my wists. I especially love the flame style one but really like this type of look a lot. It''s different from the shirts I typically wear and I like that. (Please just no hippie/Grateful Dead rainbow style tie dye. Nothing against hippies but it's just not my personal preference.)

--  Fitted Style Decorated T-Shirts. Short sleeve, 3/4 length or long sleeve. Fitted (not the "unisex" ones that are boxy) in V-neck, scoop or whatever (just nothing that's so low cut it requires another shirt underneath) in size small or US 4 equivalent. (I like the ones from Target a lot but am open to others too!) I have received a ton and I love them but I also live in fitted tees and more are always welcome. I have a bunch of styles I love WISTED for inspiration.

--  Stained Glass Item - sun catcher, nightlight, glass mosaic item, etc. Anything! I just love stained glass and wouldn't even know where to begin making it myself. I have a wall of sliding glass doors and would love to put up something pretty there! (HERE are some I've wisted for inspiration/ideas.)

--  Ceramic/pottery tea mug, oversized mug, or cereal bowl (I eat cereal every single day!) or anything like that. Again, a skill I don't have but really love. (HERE are a couple things I've wisted for inspiration.)

--  Anything with a phoenix. I LOVE the phoenix and there's not nearly enough phoenix-related things in the world or my life. You can check out my wisted phoenix items as inspiration.

-- Surprise me! Look at my wists or my amazon wishlist, my etsy favorites, the colors I like, my favorite animals, or my favorite flower, etc. and see what you can make that you think I'd like! I KEEP MY WISTS UPDATED SO IF IT'S ON THE LIST, I WANT IT! Cheesy

Craft Supplies
--  Grin Grin Jewelry Presentation Displays I have one in black but I desperately need a necklace one in WHITE for photographing my work. I could also use a necklace/earring combo and a bracelet hand. Used ones in good shape are fine too! Any kind of leather/leatherette/vinyl is awesome. These are examples of styles I like and could REALLY use:
 - Simple Necklace: Display, necklace, leatherette, white, 10x8 inches
 - Fancier Necklace/Earrings: Display, necklace/earring, frosted acrylic
 - Another Fancier Necklace/Earrings: Display, Venus figure, opaque white, 12 x 8-1/2 x 2-1/2 inches
 - Ring/Bracelet Display, acrylic, clear frosted, 7-1/4 x 4-1/2 x 3 inch hand

-- Grin Grin Gemstone Beads I'd love to use more faceted, briolette and other cut stones. Here are some I really am coveting.
(Listings shown are just for example of the stone. Can easily be smaller quantities for more reasonable cost!)
 - Any gems on my Etsy favorites - Bunches listed here
-Chrome Diopside Beads - Especially teardrops or briolettes or rondelles would be nice. Example
 - Mexican Fire Opal Rondelle Beads - example or example
 - Hesonite Garnet - example
 - Sapphire Rondelle Beads - In a red/orange/yellow combo. example or example

-- A sewing basket. You know, classic little box with a handle to store my growing collection of threads, notions, scissors, etc. Like this idea/ or this one. Doesn't have to be that fabric or anything but that idea. Right now, all my stuff is just piled up in a mess on my desk.

-- Mini Cake Pans. How cute are these? I don't know that I *need* them per se, but they're just so darn fun.

-- Lampwork beads. Love. Wish I could make but I''m too scared of open flame. Cheesy

-- Dichroic Glass Beads I love this mix for example. So pretty!

-- Beading supplies. I create jewelry so I'm always looking for unique and interesting pendants, charms, gemstone beads, large focal beads and such. Also, I love Swarovski crystal and any 16, 22 or 24 gauge wire is in any color is always useful. (Especially if it's silver-plated!) The Artistic Wire brand is my favorite.

NEW -- Ninja Men Cookie Cutters. OMG, how freakin' awesome are these???

NEW --  Grin Puffy Heart Pendant Instructions/Kit I've wanted to learn how to make this forever! Bonus would be if I had some of the materials needed as well like the stringing material. There's a full kit HERE and another HERE which is totally helpful and even more awesome!!

NEW -- Button Maker I think it'd be fun to make my own buttons. Some sort of starter kit would be great. I've never made any before. Can totally be used/pre-owned!

-- Tea! Especially fruity ones. (Caffeinated ones are fine too for my morning cup at work!)
-- Chocolate! (white, milk or dark) No coconut please.
-- Candies! (whatever neat little treats you enjoy, send 'em my way. I love candy)
-- Pineapple anything so long as it does NOT have coconut in it. (Candy, snacks, candles, body spray, etc.) Finding pure, straight pineapple is so hard!
 -- Beading/Wire-Wrapping/Jewelry magazines (esp ones with projects/tutorials)

Thanks in advance to whomever picks me! Grin

Hello.  I am puzzler and I live in Connecticut, US.  I like simple and useful things.  I love the idea that something was re-purposed or recycled, so if you can be green while crafting something for me- that would be wonderful. Please don't send me anything pink.  I like green/gray/blue colors or black and white combinations.  Any peaceful shades or patterns are OK.  Thank you! Smiley

Things I would love to get:

Writing journal/altered book.  (mixed papers would be great) Perhaps something with writing prompts or ideas?

Fabric bucket (bucket/bag made of fabric for either my yarn or fabric storage, etc)

zippered bag, something around 5x9 inches made from cotton fabric.

wallet  -see different examples on my wist

water bottle bag/holder

How to Kit (quilting, embroidery/needlework, felting, cross stitch thank you KatyMai, whatever your specialty happens to be).

I would LOVE this kind of slippers: http://wists.com/puzzler/e3fd698d80ecb769570e9eba3c942033?offset=0 or other slippers from my wist.  Size 9-10

I claim puzzler for stitch markers and coral earrings.  Smiley

Hi, I'm Roxanne!  My daughter Lana is now in first grade and is loving it.  She is our pride and joy.  Lana has grown up on Craftster love and has received so many wonderful and thoughtfully made presents her whole life.  So THANK YOU to all of you!!   I have a hubby who helps me craft when he can.  Hes the one who runs off to the craft store to buy a craft supply I missed or off to the PO to mail my packages.  I'm originally from Hawaii, so even though I live in Maryland now I'm a local girl at heart! I've dabbled in lots of different crafts.  My true love is pottery, but I haven't done that in quite a while now.  I am starting to do paper crafts, but Ill always be true to my beading!

Please nothing made with vinyl.  No wist picks please.  I really need to redo mine as I've received much from it already.

BIG WISHES ARE IN BOLD, but everything is wanted and will be loved.

Thank you in advance for picking me!

Crafted items:

- embroidered tee size 10 kids for my daughter Lana.
Would love this fox
Would love this kitty

- NERD screenprinted tee for Lana size 10
- scrappy needle roll ala Mimi

- kawaii lunch tote with handles on the sides so that Lana can carry her big thermos in it.

- Blythe hoodie by NxtDrGrrl
Would love this in purple or rainbow for Lana's doll.

- large (5" x 7" or larger) cotton (not flannel please) lined zippered pouches made with Japanese/kawaii fabric...love small animal prints. I am obsessed with pouches for my trinkets and now would love a few for my mom and sis.

- handknit socks for my mom.  She has big size 9 feet!

I claim atsuko for a scrappy needle roll and some faceted semi-precious beads Smiley

Hi there!  My name's Kim, I'm 28, and I've been married to my fantastic hubby for 10 years.  We have a french bulldog (Gizmo!) and a pug (Lola).

We're California transplants, living in Austin, TX and loving it! I'm a reader, a maker, and a painter. Trying to become a bit of a do-er and taking Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, and Boxing classes. I do, after all, need to burn off some of the food that I love so much - Indian Buffet here I come!

Likes: My favorite colors are purple, dark teal, turquoise, acid green, brown, charcoal, and occasionally pink when it's mixed into a kind of mod pattern that isn't over the top girly. I'm also a fan of colorful polka dots, tentacled critters, goldfish, and owls Smiley

Dislikes: Disney, teddy bears, lacy frou-frou stuff, grandma prints, cabbage roses, puff paint. Puppies and kittens are awesome when I can play with them, not so much when they're crafted.

~Wisty Goodness.  It's updated, and I love everything...just ignore the obviously store bought goodies
~Anything French Bulldog.  Pugs are popular, so it's easier to find pug things, but not frenchies.
~Fabric Napkins Printed, stamped, stenciled, or not. Thanks Babalina58!!
~Painted Umbrella like this one: Spotty Umbrella  I'm not terribly attached to the color, but I love the polka dots!  Or maybe tentacles? An Octopus?
~Mythical creature "taxidermy" - From the cute  to creepy
~Bleach stenciled t-shirts or tank tops with animals Owls, birds, goldfish, giraffes, pretty much anything that's not super cutesy. Women's fitted shirts, (Target, or Old Navy type, I know they always have a ton at Goodwill) size small.
~Decorated Recipe Binder that I can add recipes to.
~Pendants/Necklaces Living Moss PendantPainted Wood PendantStained Glass Pendant
~Embroidered Cuff Bracelet  I like the whole thing, but it could be cool with a pattern like this too!
~Wall art My wist and my DA wishlist probably give you a good idea what I like.   and one more.
~Re-usable lunch bag (Small grocery bag size?)  Use your imagination, but it has to fit a microwave meal and some fruit, lol.
~Animal Stuffies Sewn, not knit or crocheted.  They're lovely, but I have plenty of amis!
~Cute Needle Book
~Healthy Snacks Home made beef jerky, granola, trail mix, dried fruit, fruit leathers, etc.  Whatever you can make that would ship well!

I will be happy to take used items and project leftovers off your hands!

~Lead Free Solder
~Soldering Iron Rheostat
~Old clock parts (hands, gears, etc.)
~Fun and funky fabrics like a lot of the stuff Spoonflower sells.   If you know of a cheaper place to get similar fabrics, let me know! Fat Quarters, and even decent sized scraps are cool Smiley
~Colorful fat quarters Different from above, I'm talking about the usual ones you find in any craft store.
~Old unwanted comic books that can be chopped into decoupage fodder.
~Precious Metal Clay  Even a little bit to experiment with.
~Ceramic marking pens  I think it bakes on in the oven.
~Throw pillow forms/filler
~My grandma had these little plastic bobbin holders that clipped onto a spool of thread so you could keep the bobbins with the thread they matched.  If anyone has ever seen these or knows where to find them, I'd love you forever!
~Patterns from my wist or any fun amigurumi or plushie patterns (knit, crochet or sewn)
~Cardstock enough to make a lamp. 14+ pieces?
~Copyright free bug and critter photos (as in, you took the photo and don't mind if I make a watercolor painting of it) I'm thinking about starting a new "Critters" series of paintings.
~Origami Paper
~Fabric Transfer Printer Paper
~Printable Fabric
~Rotary Cutter
~Shrinky Dink Sheets
~Pins and needles I'll take any size or type!
~Thread of any color
~Stamp/Lino carving supplies

~One (or more!) of your favorite "lite" recipes  I've been having a blast cooking new healthy tasty foods.  I'd love to make myself a "Craftster Cookbook"
~Hard Candy I'm on a diet, and need to make it last, lol!
~Decaf Tea LOVE peppermint and non-fruity herbals Smiley

I am not allergic to anything so no need to worry about that.

My biggest hobby right now is Roller Derby.  My derby name is Tammy ToeStop. I also love biking and running at the gym.  My other hobby is riding my pink scooter.

My favorite color is pink and I love weird tacky stuff.  I also love crafts involving food (like how I put food in resin
or miniature food or whatever).

Hello.  Im located in the United States.  I have no allergies.  But, hubby has sinus issues so nothing too perfumy or too smoke smelling.  Themes I love are:  pirates, pirate ships, octopus, dragons, Harry Potter, video games, tattoos, koi, gryffins, phoenixs (the fire bird), burgundy/gold, red/black polka dots, teal/black, knee high socks with stripes/argyle or other cute prints, cupcakes, argyle and other fun prints, cute Japanese prints, tattoo, 1950s style full aprons and cherry blossoms.  My style is cute/sexy with some geeky/nerd as well.  Think Harry potter scarves, Nintendo shirts, and 1950s retro aprons.  I love playing video games, reading, watching movies, baking bread, crafting and being with my family.  I dont like lace or frilly things, adult or creepy themed crafts, the colors orange/yellow/pastel/neon.

Crafted items:
-Nook case like this, but in a theme that I like.  I have a regular nook.
-golden snitch locket necklace
-stitch markers with numbers. (2 sets would be super!)
