This was my first afghan, and I've only been crocheting since Oct...so yay me? It didn't turn out to pretty but I'm just proud I finished the dang thing! It was suppose to be a Christmas present for my mom but that never happened. Now I can send it to her, and since she's my mom she will love it...or at least her dachshund will Wink HA!

Great job! I think it looks super good.. I could never do that.

I love the art behind your bed, by the way!

Looks good! You did a great job on it and your mom'll love it. Great thing about moms is they don't care about 'late', lol.

I also love the wall art. Reminds me of plaid, and I wubs plaid. Smiley

Not letting "no time" be an excuse anymore. ...now if I could just work on the whole "sanity" bit.

It would look a lot better if it was an "A"for Alabama  Wink

but seriously, really nice!  I have been crocheting for over thirty years and am just now thinking about doing an afghan lol

I was going to do like granny squares or something I can ease into (it seems like a big undertaking) but you have inspired me, maybe I will just go for it!

I also like the art- did you do it?

Yep I did make the art, super easy! I just painted canvases then wrapped different ribbons around it, it matches our bedspread but I was washing everything so it's not in the picture Smiley
