On my shopping outting to Bed Bath & Beyond I picked up this scarf valance that is faux suede.  I knew when I saw it that I could make it work espeically for the price.  I bought the blue curtains from a thrift store for $3.99.  From the scarf valance I got the following: 2 curtains, 4 tiebacks and a pc leftover for later use.  The scarf valance was $39.99 as priced on the pkg in the pic which I paid $4.99.  WHAT CAN I SAY I CAN NOT PASS UP A DEAL LIKE THAT ESP WHEN I KNOW HOW TO MAKE IT WORK (As Tim Gunn says!!!

Here I cut the scarf valance the length of the blue curtain.  I did the scarf valance the same style as the blue curtain notice the detail.

Here I pinned the hem for the rod to go through.

This is what my window treatment looked before! (BORING)

This is what my window treatment looks like now! (STYLISH I SAY) That is jaloux admiring my work and modeling.

Close up of the tiebacks: each curtain has one of it very own.

This is the leftover fabric. the 2 cut pcs I cut again to make 4 tiebacks and the other pc for later use.

Lastly, I took the curtains from the front windows and put them in the salon/sewing area.
