My boyfriend and I have some friends who are big drinkers. For a late christmas present we wanted to decorate some beer mugs for them. We went to hobby lobby and they have glass etching materials but we had no idea what we should use. We dont want to put anything to intricate on the glasses just some words and maybe a picture. Any suggestions or tips on what we should use would be very helpful. Preferably something that will still allow the cups to be washed.

Here is a link to a great tutorial on etching glassware from the Glass Crafts Featured Tutorials:

If you need more information on etching, look further down the Glass Crafts Discussion and Questions forum. There is a lot of information there!

Good luck!
