This is my first posting of a project.  My daughter is in Kindergarten and the teacher asked parents to bring more snack options for Fridays, which is snack day.  One of the kids brought in a big container of animal crackers in Winnie the Pooh theme.  He proceeded to tell the teacher that they are "Winnie the Poop."  Once she told me the story I had an idea.  I had seen many amigurumi poop and loved the sense of humor behind it.
Soooo I decided to make the teacher a amigurumi poop, in which I named Winnie.  She absolutely loves it and even put it up for display in the classroom, which made me very happy.

I used the pattern Happy Poo found at http://puchitomato.livejournal.com/16545.html
Thank you to that person for sharing her pattern!

And without further delay, here's Winnie!

Her heart cheeks are hearts I cut out from fabric I have on hand.  Her eyes are those doll eyes that I covered with a silver Sharpie marker then covered with a Green Sharpie.  Her smile is the same yarn used for doilies, and her flower is a silk hydrangia that I colored in 2 shades of pink.  To weigh Winnie down I added decorative glass that you find in vases of flowers, then stuffed.

She took me about 3 hours to make from start to finish, and that was only because I had to restart a couple times as I lost count.  I was able to finally make her up while my daughter was in school and not pestering me.   Wink

Thank you for looking!

So cute!  It's so funny how much of your day is about poop when you are a parent or a teacher of young children!!!

Progress not perfection.
